HAINES DIRT FILE For five weeks journalists have been digging dirt for Albanese on Helen Haines They’ve been making inquiries in the local community, and probing her personal, professional and family ties to try to establish links to $1.8 Billion worth of projects in the Indi electorate ***Just imagine how much distrust this creates*** Even questioning Helen Haines’ reputation has the potential to stir up resentment in a small town. Albanese and his office were fully aware of the impact Helen was well aware of their behaviour. She knew about the Dirt File and that she’d be targeted for speaking out about the $6 million donation to Albanese’s golf club Haines had also referred roughly $1.35 billion in non-competitive 2022 election commitment grants to the Australian National Audit Office. She argued they overwhelmingly favoured Labor seats, which amounted to a “closed shop” corruption She introduced the End Pork Barrelling Bill. See why Labor were after her…

All elected officials should remember this:

It is worse than tragedy that France has enabled the conditions for its own destruction. In their political games they have counted for nothing the young lives from Allied nations that were sacrificed in two world wars defending France from invaders. They have just squandered it.
I was always thinking it would be the UK first, but France has one out again. We are not coming to save you this time France.

Who could possibly be behind the indecent attacks on social media against @AngusTaylorMP when he expressed his feelings over the attack on Helen Haines? Seems his posts are inundated with negatives. Why? Who?

Remember when I posted earlier that the Army was being evicted from Victoria Barracks Sydney by Christmas? Remember when Marles later said it was untrue? Well it’s true Please ring your local member. This sale will raise zero money but will destroy our national history.

The snow job Snowy Hydro is facing a cost-blowout of $40B. This is the Boofhead Bozo Bowen & @TurnbullMalcolm @SenKatyG @AlboMP monument to stupidity. Is it any wonder this country is broke? We are all paying with higher energy costs, a trillion $ deficit & a sinking economy thanks to these ludicrous decisions by the biggest bunch of amateurs & pretender politicians this country has ever seen.

“They are members of the royal family and they work.” Is this really the best argument available for people who keep telling us how exceptionally intelligent Meghan is? Because this is Key Stage 2 stuff. Having a job and being related to the King does not make you a working royal. Working royals serve the Crown within Britain’s constitutional and legal framework. Charity work isn’t a constitutional mandate. Harry’s blood isn’t blue, Meghan isn’t a Disney princess, and titles aren’t personal-brand assets. They derive their meaning from the institution, not the other way round. The media helped flatter Andrew and Fergie into confusing proximity to the Crown with personal power. Now you’re selling Harry and Meghan the same fantasy of a rival court. But freedom works both ways. Harry can be Mr Mountbatten-Windsor, free of his big brother’s oversight. King William can be free of Harry, too. Why would William tie his children’s future to a brother he cannot trust, whose conduct he cannot control, but for whom the Crown could still be held accountable? The future is Middleton-Windsor, not an ever-expanding Mountbatten-Windsor family business, and certainly not a Markle-Windsor one. Meghan was never Diana. The comparison is Fergie: not as an insult, but as a warning about what happens when the media flatters proximity to royalty into an imaginary power base. William may prefer the Zara and Peter model: family without titles, with trust and closeness mattering most. Harry can rebuild trust or choose independence. But he cannot reject the institution while demanding its privileges. If he wants freedom from King William, William and his children must be free of him, too. William’s future monarchy does not need a large extended working royal family. It needs a functioning constitutional core and a wider private family he can trust.

An observation from a piece in The Australian today about populist politics, drawing on political conversations in the back of taxis, caught my attention. “Hanson doesn’t need to have any clue how to fix anything as long as people think that what she is saying somehow ‘makes sense’.” My concern isn’t about Hanson. It’s about the thinking behind that observation. When WHAT a politician says carries more weight than HOW they propose to achieve it, we have a problem. Identifying a problem is relatively easy. Articulating public frustration is easier still. But neither is the same as understanding the complexities involved in resolving it, let alone having a credible, workable solution. And when something merely sounding right becomes a substitute for asking whether it can actually work, we’ve stopped scrutinising political promises and started rewarding political rhetoric. That should concern us, regardless of which political party we support.

Malcolm Turnbull shouldn’t have been let into the Liberal Party to begin with. Too many on the left are still active in the party. The first step to rebuilding it is to expel Turnbull and remove the left deadwood. The Liberals have done this to themselves. I don’t think they even care.

She literally spent almost all her life protecting the monarchy and right or wrong, she always put the monarchy first. She sacrificed her young life, family life, and child rearing. Her complete dedication to duty brought stability to the monarchy and an aura of great power. She and the monarchy were greatly respected. It’s shocking that an unintelligent, unhinged, grifting, useless grandson could decide he’s going to play Royal his way, give a middle finger to his supposed beloved granny, and say I didn’t agree to not be half in half out, she “foisted” her decision on me. That’s the level of disrespect Harry has for the monarchy Queen Elizabeth II built, her 70 year legacy, and for the woman who he called granny. Every time he disrespects her decision ( no half in half out) by making money off his title, and then pretending to be a “working” royal who supports the great monarchy she built, he stabs her in the back. Betrayal at its grandest scale.

WHAT A SURPRISE - @JEChalmers LIED ATO warned Labor over credit card ban months ago. The Albanese govt knew for months the ATO was preparing to stop accepting credit card payments & backed the decision before backflipping in response to a backlash from small business. Chalmers & Assistant Treasurer Daniel Mulino explored three options for the ATO on credit card payments, after the RBA on March 31 announced it would ban merchant fees from October 1, according to sources who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Chalmers claimed this week he only became aware in late September of the ATO’s decision to ban credit card payments. afr.com/policy/tax-and-super…

The Greens created and maintained a secret dossier that catalogued allegations against Jordon Steele-John and set out ways to shut down media coverage and monitor members who raised concerns on social media. Filthy lying cheating bastards who crucified Morrison for nothing!

....and Hanson needs to tone down her personal attacks on Hastie and Canavan [via Capricornia]. Someone has obviously told her she is unbeatable...well 18+ months is a long time for arrogance to hold sway. We need a conservative victory...not sacrificed on the altar of arrogance.
Replying to @bob_parto
Not having a go mate. Trying to highlight the real problem. Libs still have work to do to reclaim their party. And ON need to be vigilant to know who's who amongst coalition refugees joining their ranks. More than a few backroom white-ants now see ON as their new gravy train.

Josh Frydenberg needs to go away. He and his bad ideas are a big part of why the Liberal Party is broken. The more he says, the worse he makes it. He is a product for a market that does not exist.

Big news! A Carlton party out of season & recreational drugs were used? Must only happen at Carlton? Any others want to out their hand up!

While Josh Frydenberg’s economic expertise is valued, he has no right to attack Alex Antic and Angus Taylor from outside Parliament when the party needs to focus on a strong, conservative future. How has the moderates worked out @JoshFrydenberg ..??

Gillard’s misogyny speech was not a spontaneous response by Gillard. It had been written in advance by wily staffer John McTernan and was being kept ready for an opportune moment. It was deployed to neutralise Coalition attacks on Speaker Slipper’s gross misogynistic texts.
Left raving about Gillard famous speech. Lets tell the whole story shall we She was triggered because Abbott has just pointed out that her choice as Speaker the hideous Peter Sipper had just been found to have texted about women's private parts, Slipper sent this : ''They look like mussell (sic) removed from its shell. Look at a bottle of mussel meat. Salty C..ts in brine.'' Gillard was deflecting and she did a good job. AND then her Gov. phucked the Rights of women and girls.
