When #BrainCancer stole Ashley’s voice, she found new ways to speak. A simple 👍🏼 told us she was okay.
Our Ashley stayed fiercely positive & unbreakable through it all.
We would be so grateful for a follow & repost to keep Ashley’s story alive. ❤️

I miss my daughter. Charlotte died on the 24th February 2016. She was nineteen years old. She died in a coma. It was a long time ago, some might say. It will forever be my yesterday.
Before the cancer, we used to shop for clothes. After the diagnosis, we shopped for wigs. We used to love eating out. After thirty-two days of radiotherapy, Charlotte couldn't eat at all.
You used to be scared of needles. You had blood tests weekly. It put a stop to your fear. Post-diagnosis, you were never 'normal' again.
Your life was hospitals and endless chemotherapy. You bought me flowers every week. Now I buy you flowers every week. They're for your final resting place.
Glioblastoma is a terminal grade four brain cancer - there is no cure. Charlotte's final weeks before she went into a coma were horrendous. She was stripped of everything: her ability to walk and her ability to talk, for example. Glioblastoma does not stop until it kills.
My son and I have worked tirelessly, raising awareness and donations. We are a self funding charity. 100% of all donations go to Charlotte's LAB, Kings College Hospital, London.

I would LOVE to see my Ashley’s name 4,651 times in comments for all the days she’s been missing.
When you lose a Child, the most beautiful word you can hear is their name. ❤️
A Repost & Follow would mean the world to us to keep our Ashley’s story alive.
