Do the opposite💡
10 years ago we decided to take a risk with our DVM students and embedded Research&Enquiry. We were told our DVMs won’t like it, they not made to do research. The annual symposium where they present is my best day at Uni, I am so proud of them. @Sydney_Vet
🚨You see smiles on students’ faces, coming to lecture theatre, asking questions and genuinely proud of their and each others work. We done the opposite and it 👍worked. @Sydney_Vet @AustVetAssoc
Plus, over the years they produced over 100+ publications, you can read about the program in a letter to the AVJ editor we wrote. This year symposium was a blast, one for the ages! @Sydney_Uni🦤🐩🚨🙌 Thanks Michael Ward - it was a blast! ⚡️@AustVetAssoc

It appears #NIAID will shutter the genome data base we all use daily. This strikes me as a significant mistake that may well endanger much of our global progress. @BSPparasitology @AS_Para @ASTMH @TrendsParasitol @AmSocParasit @parasitesrule @PiParasitology
