Ito talagang Born To Shine consistent sa pagiging inconsistent. Hai. I am a fan of this series, as in kapag may namimiss akong episodes dapat mahabol ko siya.
One major problem ko? Yung headwriters/writers nito. Ano ba talagang balak niyo sa character ni Jennie? Matapang tapos
api-apihan then repeat. This is one of the major problem ng @gmanetwork when it comes to their series, yung pagbuild up ng storytelling nila. Alam mo yung itataas nila yung climax sa mga episode then bagsak ulit suddenly after 2-3 episodes? Jusme, 2026 na te same formula pa rin.
Sino bang Headwriter/Writer ng Born To Shine? Naguguluhan na ako sa character development na paandar niyo.
Yung inconsistency consistent- lalaban kunyari yung bida tapos papaapi ulit tapos lalaban then repeat. Kaumay! 🙈

Sometimes a movie doesn’t need to be fancy, expensive, or made in Hollywood or Korea. Sometimes, you just need to put your heart into it, ground the story in reality, and let the emotions do the work.
From the moment @vicegandako joined the MMFF with Sisterakas (2012), followed by Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy (2013) and so on, he built an era of comedy that was unapologetically entertaining—sometimes pure fun and nonsense, if we’re being brutally honest. 😅
What stood out to me was how simple and restrained the storytelling was. No over-the-top confrontations, no unnecessary drama—just two mothers from completely different circumstances: one terrified of losing her son, and another who has longed to become a mother. The story itself
But that was always the charm. His movies were never meant for everyone.
Then came Call Me Mother, and honestly, I didn’t expect much. I know what to expect from a Vice Ganda movie, but this one genuinely surprised me.
