@PrakashJavdekar #ExemptHospitalsFromETPandSTP. Review the need for ETP/STP for hospitals. Even then if needed then please start from the government sector to setup the STP/ETP and then extend to big hospital then the small ones.

Most of the STP/ETP plants usually are high capacity consuming the unnecessary power and water wastage( precious resources) While small nursing home generate very low liquid waste that we neutralise as per WHO guidelines. @PrakashJavdekar

As per the government decision to install STP in all private hospitals, it is very difficult to install STP at such a high cost. This cost will be a burden on the patients. So, I request @PrakashJavdekar @PMOIndia to reconsider this decision.

Small hospitals and nursing homes are major healthcare providers at very affordable prices. Provision of ETP/STP will lead to closure of most of them due to financial reasons or increase in the treatment cost by many fold.
