๐จ NEWS: The British Government has committed another ยฃ54 million to help Ukraine through winter as households across the UK face continued pressure from energy bills.
The package, announced by Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, includes:
โข ยฃ20 million for energy infrastructure repairs, generators and power supplies.
โข ยฃ34 million for heating, water services and humanitarian support.
The Government's latest figures put total UK commitments to Ukraine at ยฃ25 billion.
With British families also facing financial pressures this winter, questions remain over how ministers balance overseas commitments with support at home.

Just 2 days later, GMCA signed an ยฃ87,920 direct contract with Co-op Liveโs operating company, Eastlands Arena Ltd.

Co-op Liveโs ownership chain includes City Football Group, which is majority owned through Sheikh Mansourโs Abu Dhabi company.
Then the contract notice wasnโt published until 7 July.
So answer this:
Who chose Co-op Live?
Who approved the no-competition exemption?
What other venues were priced?
And why was the contract signed one day before the event?
This does not prove corruption.
But ยฃ87,920 of public money, no competition, and a contract tied into CFGโs ownership structure absolutely deserves scrutiny.
