Proud to have represented @nhsfife at today’s Remembrance Sunday event. Being asked to lay a wreath in honour of Nurse, Edith Cavell is a poignant reminder of the importance of courage and compassion in the nursing profession. Lest we forget

Prioritising quality of life during hospital stays is by making changes to the enviroment. Beyond proud of the older adult service here at QMH.
Welcoming new visiting spaces for the families and friends of older adults have been opened at Queen Margaret Hospital.
The areas in wards one and four are designed to provide welcoming areas distinct from the traditional ward setting.

Lots of great discussion at the Fife dementia education online event this morning. Always so worthwhile to bring people across sectors together. Huge thanks to @tracy_mcewan93 , older adult psychology service and @NHS_Education for making it happen!
Great time had at the @OAMHSFife celebration day! Lots of fun, learning and reflection to celebrate the dedication and achievements of our service. The lived experience talk was very moving & inspiring. Proud to be part of this team!
Enjoyed chatting to so many future nurses, hearing their NQP aspirations and hopes for the future. Flying the flag for all the fantastic career opportunities we have here in Fife!

Having shared lots about Grandad’s dementia journey and our experience as a family, it feels only right to share that his journey has come to an end. He passed on Christmas Eve with us all by his side. We are broken, but with a sense of relief for his peace at last.
Excited to share that Ward One QMH has opportunities for RMHNs to join our amazing team! If you have a passion for person-centred care or a commitment to psychologically informed practice, WE WANT YOU!
Please share away and spread the word!

With the way culture & society currently is, I can 100% say every single person is going through struggles & difficulties you have no idea about
Even if they are smiling and seem to have “everything” they don’t. Be aware of how you view them, be kind & conscious of judgement 🦢
Didn’t know I could feel so energised and exhausted at the same time! Grateful to have met so many inspirational QN’s and spent time with our 2022 tribe 💙 – at Scotland, United Kingdom
Day 2 of the @qnis un-conference. Stirling University is such a beautiful campus 🍁
