I love the Total War Warhammer 3 DLC this month, they are all amazing experiences. However, I feel Toddy having two voice actors was a poor choice, because the only reason I can think of for that is incase AngoryTom becomes controversial and that's an insulting lack of faith
Pressure is a must watch movie, it's tense, it's got great cinematography and it's a unique take on the war genre. It was great to see a full cinema but in a way tragic that besides my family, the average age was 60+ watching it
The discourse around wolverine has been interesting for me as a teacher as I have students and coworkers who absolutely adored the game yet online it's being torn to shreds. Not sure what to take from it all, maybe some games as just inherently casual and that's okay
So I have noticed something with Steam Reviews, they always seem to start negative and mixed for about a day until people who have actually played the games review them and bring it up. Are there people who just negatively review games for the hell of it or am I missing something
My final zero company comment is that as a streamer, there's too many fake out endings. If I wasn't streaming its cool, but I can only put finale in the title so many times before I look idiotic. Although this only happens because the game is longer than anyone expects it to be.
Now Zero Company has been injected into my algorithm, I feel I am the only person who treated it like an actual mercenary company and did not make everyone into a clone.
I cannot overstate how much Star Wars Zero Company has blown me away, its mastered (and perfected) an old and beloved gaming genre, chucked it into the best time period of the Star Wars and may have stolen Game of the Year out of nowhere.

Fable unquestionably, don't get me wrong Stranger than Heaven looks amazing but experimental, weird and if I could only have one, I'd pick the one I know I'll get something out of.

I mean call me old fashioned, but having to pay extra money for content is a micro-transaction....and they have already gated like 20 things behind a more expensive version of the game.

I think I now understand why my mum, and I presume other people's mums, barely ate anything. Been prepping lunches for the last couple hours and you'd think being surrounded by food you'd get hungry but no, I looked at the food I have and don't want to eat anything.
For those wondering if Zero company is x-com enough, there's two achievements in the game of note, one for missing a 90% chance to hit and another for hitting a ten, I got the 90% miss in the second cycle (30 mins in), I got the 10% hit on cycle 18 12 hours later...
After the immense disappointment I had with Clawed, wishing for a good dinosaur game for the first time since Dino Crisis, having both the Sinking City 2 and Star Wars Zero Company just be good games was the best palette cleanser, genuinely encouraged me to stream again
