ALT A message from the CIPD working with Youth Futures Foundation. We're calling for policy makers to: 1 Introduce an Apprenticeship Guarantee for young people. 2 Create apprenticeships that provide clear pathways and high quality training for young people. 3 Reinstate traineeship programmes to help young people get ready for apprenticeships if they need further support. It may not have hit the headlines, but last week’s official labour market stats suggests the number of young people not in employment, full-time education or training (NEET), is at its highest level in almost a decade (since winter 2014/15).
