Isn’t it brilliant that EVs give manufacturers the chance to start from scratch, ignoring what a traditional car *should* look like? 🇮🇳⚡️
A week in Norway and Denmark has reminded me that no matter all the policy noise and press negativity – the electric transition picks up *fast*.
There’s a really bright (near) future for EVs in the UK 🇳🇴🇩🇰⚡️
Did someone say… live notifications and charging progress in dynamic island???

Model 3 really does soak up the lake district roads… effortlessly fast, nearly 5 miles/kWh, a big boot for bags and a handy frunk for muddy boots. Such a brilliant road tripper⚡️

UPDATE: We've just acquired Mer UK's public charging network 💚⚡️
Remember when you said you wanted more places to charge? We may have slightly overdelivered…
Overnight, Be.EV has grown (a lot) – we know you like options, and you’ll soon have an extra 450+ places to plug-in (that’s over 1,600 new bays) across the UK, including loads more in the South, yes, we heard you😉
And, this means there will soon be more places to power-up with our market-leading 39p/kWh Mega subscription and the UK’s longest off-peak window (7pm–7am).
If you charge with Be.EV already, or you’ve been using Mer, everything continues as normal for now.
Behind the scenes though, we’ll be getting to work. Over the next few months, we’ll start rolling out the Be.EV experience across these sites – focusing on reliability, value for money, and bringing everything under one big green network.
Stay tuned for more updates very soon!
Turns out @BeEV_Charging hubs aren’t solar-powered, they’re sugar-powered… 😅💚🍬
Our team’s shameless claim to fame in 2025. In-house dentist coming in 2026 🙃
As it gets colder… a reminder ❄️🚗⚡️
EV chargers don’t supply any less power when it’s chilly (in fact, colder temps keep components cool and can allow for higher-power for even longer)
If you’re getting slower charging speeds than you expect, it’s likely your chilly battery limiting what the car is asking for.
Especially in these temperatures, make sure to pre-heat your battery before charging for a quicker charge 🔋🔥
