As some of you may know, yesterday we sadly lost 19 year old Boro fan Ollie Gatfield. He was a beloved member of the east terrace, Saturday we would like to have a minutes applause in the 19th minute to pay tribute to his life. ❤️ #StevenageFC #OneOllieGatfield

You're 1-0 down in the closing minutes of the game away to your local rivals. Pick up the ball in midfield and catch them on the counter. Only for a fan to throw a flare on the pitch to get the game stopped. Absolutely classic from Cambridge tonight, what a shambles of a club.

Tomorrow is going to be one of those days to never forget @StevenageFC. Fans of this amazing club, standing side by side, coming together as one to show respect to Ollie and send our prayers to Liam and both of their families. If times of need people come together.

Echoed now more than ever, these tough times show what this club truly is. From current players and staff, to past players, managers and the foundation, and not to forget all our fans, we will always look out for our own. That’s what it means to support Stevenage. We’re a family

Why Stevenage? That personal feeling, a connection that’s almost lost between club & fans at the top. For years now especially this week you feel that family atmosphere, a sense of community throughout this little club. That’s Why Stevenage? There is no better time than now.💛

In addition to the tragic passing of Ollie, his friend and fellow Boro supporter Liam is fighting for his life in hospital as a result of the accident, so we we all need to pray for his recovery. Be strong Liam. #StevenageFC
