Took me a while to solve a weird monitor issue - no signal. Checked xrandr, all good. reseated the DP cable at both ends, unplugged the HDMI adaptor it was plugged into. The issue was the HDMI adaptor seems to have crashed, and needed to unplug from USB to reboot it.
