The unoffical Starbase UK pitch has gone behind an auth layer today.
It's got far too advanced for the public Internet with over 133,000 Unit Tests, weather patterns, active satellite tracking & space junk debris monitoring.
I know it's got legs but I now need to try and get on the US / SpaceX radars & sensors through official channels to actually make this happen!
Wish me luck because I'll never give up until I am told to stand down or am killed! ❤️ 🚀

America has added an estimated 10GW of AI data-centre capacity over the past two years.
Meanwhile, the sorry state of Britain's national grid means that our flagship 50MW project has faced so many delays that Microsoft has pulled out. Nscale is one of two major British neoclouds, but both are choosing to IPO in America. Every month that passes, we fall further behind.
This technology is going to determine the winners and losers of the 21st century. It looks like Britain's elites have chosen their side.
IR35 managed to kill that idea for UK PLC 🤦

BREAKING: The U.S. Space Force has officially activated a new command dedicated to supporting America's special operations forces.
The organization, known as Space Forces Special Operations (SPACEFOR-SOC), was formally activated October 7 under U.S. Special Operations Command, according to an internal military memo verified by Air & Space Forces Magazine.
The new component will integrate space capabilities and expertise directly into special operations planning and missions, where satellite communications, navigation, intelligence and electronic warfare can play critical roles.
The move establishes the Space Force's ninth component organization, expanding its presence across the U.S. military's combatant commands.
The activation follows more than 18 months of planning and congressional scrutiny. A formal stand-up ceremony is expected in the coming weeks.

Alex Karp doesn't want well-rounded people at Palantir.
He specifically looks for "malshaped high aptitude" — someone whose intelligence is almost disqualifying everywhere else precisely because it's so extreme in one direction.
The logic is sharp: a super high aptitude doesn't fit into a normal org. It breaks the system. So you build a company that only works with people the system already rejected.
That's not a hiring philosophy. That's a deliberate filter for the kind of minds most companies accidentally screen out during the interview process.
Palantir even launched a paid engineering program recruiting straight from high school — before the credentialing machine gets a chance to smooth them out.
The best technical talent isn't the most hireable. It's often the least.

The pen is mightier than the sword!
While the concept has ancient roots, the specific phrasing was coined by English author Edward Bulwer-Lytton in 1839.
Around this time William Hale and the British military actually had meaning and were innovating the first rocket systems!
In today's Starbase UK release notes...
1. Added an ultra safe dogleg trajectory with over 27K unique debris field unit tests in case something goes very badly wrong!
2. More Guile style "sonic boom" and pressure wave synthesis which has a side hustle feature of acting as a bird strike scarer IRL
3. New MOD Shoeburyness pad and rig positions for ultimate launch safety corridor processing and for tidal road optimisation of The Broomway 2.0
4. Added a toggle for booster drone ship or return to launch site for rapid reusability focus
5. Validation of polar orbit to access every place on Earth through planet rotation which is of huge military and strategic value
6. Started a business plan and roadmap to secure a funding tranche for sensitive kit from the US, UK facilities modernisation and wider recruitment
7. Very early planning stages of an outer Thames Estuary tidal bore power station with a secondary feature acting as a new Thames flood barrier operating far into 2200s.
@elonmusk @PalmerLuckey is a unique fixer upper 35K acre tidal launch, test & eval site any good to you both?

Ukrainian-developed FPV drone simulator “Remote Reaper: FPV Drone” has officially left Early Access, with version 1.0 now available on Steam.
Developed in collaboration with military pilots, the simulator focuses on combat FPV drone operations and introduces several features in its full release, including armored vehicles with modeled vulnerable zones, electronic warfare effects that can disrupt video feeds and control signals during the final stage of an attack, and a customizable drone editor.
Version 1.0 also adds configurable weather conditions, custom mission editing, real-time flights with other pilots and a racing mode.
Players can use FPV hardware or a gamepad with realistic flight physics, or opt for simplified controls using a keyboard and mouse.
