AI life hack of the day: Have it recreate all your school calendars in normal human format I don't know if this is a ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง thing but my kids school feels the need to reinvent the calendar Both the school holidays calendar and lunch schedule are in crazy formats that are really hard to read So I had AI make the school lunch calendar in a simple list instead (pulling only the options that work for my kids) You could also have it message you that days lunch option every morning or the night before

OK I got to read this in advance and one of the first ideas broke my brain, no joke I have been recrafting our whole marketing messaging around it The book really could have been called "the guide to growing your business for developers" because its really friendly to how a dev brain works *And* comes with ai skills to implement GET THIS FREAKING BOOK
After more than a year of labor, my book ๐˜๐˜ช๐˜ฅ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ ๐˜”๐˜ถ๐˜ญ๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฑ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ด has launched! It's all my best ideas -- and best writing -- on how to grow your company with your existing budget and team. And yes, I read the audiobook myself. :-) ๐—•๐˜‚๐˜† ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜: You can buy cheaper bundles directly from me -- Kindle and Audiobook, or those plus the physical book -- from hiddenmultipliers.com ๐—•๐˜‚๐˜† ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—”๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜‡๐—ผ๐—ป: It is available in paperback, Kindle, and Audible: tinyurl.com/hiddenmultiplierโ€ฆ ๐—™๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ ๐—”๐—œ ๐˜€๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—น๐—น๐˜€: Skills that implement the ideas in the book as well as articles, more added all the time, at skills.asmartbear.com/ I'm so proud of this and grateful to the many people who helped along the way, reading early drafts, challenging my ideas, and encouraging me to do it, and the 750 people who preordered the book, trusting that it would be worth it. In this clip from the Beyond Fulfillment Podcast with Dave Gulas, I discuss how AI in finance excels at reporting and at spotting trends and patterns quickly. But it doesn't know why the numbers changed or what they mean for your business. That context? Still a CFO's job.

Versa straps FTW. First time out today and they are really great. Well worth looking slightly silly.

I've accidentally typed my banking password into an LLM about 3 times now. I'm leaving this here for posterity.

Anyone running a SaaS in Ireland got Professional Indemnity Insurance? We are in the market and have had trouble sourcing it in the past.

Anyone got a SaaS owner Claude skill to recommend? I rolled my own citing @asmartbear and @jasonlk. Who else would be good to add?

It has become easier to prompt the app I need than go through the hassle of finding and buying one.

I've been on holiday with my family for seven days. I'm genuinely curious what programming will look like when I get back. That's an insane level for change.
