Went to buy a car today. Called the bank and told them. They said just make they payment through the app and call us if any problems. Did this. Payment has gone into the ether, my current account has been locked and completely disappeared from view and after an hour on the phone they said there is no department that can unlock it as it’s “under investigation”. Spent 4 hours at the car dealer and then had to go home with no car, no money and no bank account.

James, I have done some Twitter forensics. This was your original account has internal Twitter ID 15798091 currently maps to xitter.cf/_lensprotocol which the hackers changed the @ handle a couple of times already. The hackers also have cyber-squatted your original @/JamesDelingpole handle so you can't change it back. Will need @TwitterSupport third line intervention to recover it.
