Day 135 of #100DaysOfCode 135 days after I started this journey, today I accepted my first job in tech! Seems a good place to end this daily posting challenge, thank you for all the positivity and support. I look forward starting as a Junior Software Developer soon!

Day 134 of #100DaysOfCode Bit of CodeWars to start the day and get warmed up! Then had 2 interviews, really great experience to learn what companies are looking from junior devs. Hope to be able to share some exciting news tomorrow!

Day 133 of #100DaysOfCode Been planning my own personalised difficulty scores into my FPL Fixture Difficulty calendar. What do you think of these proposed ratings? More difference between home and away needed? Would love to get the view of @FPLGeneral himself 🫡

Day 132 of #100DaysOfCode Managed to get my FPL calendar to roll over to the new GW fixtures this morning! Should happen automatically from now on. Had another interview today, and some other good news 😀 Finished The Phoenix Project down the beach after, anyone else read it?

Day 131 of #100DaysOfCode Added some CSS styling to the tech test and submitted it, great communication from them to reply quickly and offer an interview later this week! Did a few Codewars challenges to keep my practice going. Looking forward to the United game tonight!

Day 130 of #100DaysOfCode Mostly a weekend of football to be fair, great win at the Amex yesterday and plenty of entertainment in the televised games today. Completed a tech test this afternoon, setting up my own API end point that is fetched and displayed in the front-end!

Day 128 of #100DaysOfCode Been busy the last couple of days getting my FPL side project into a useable state for launch! Go check it out at fpl-fixture-calendar.vercel.… Very much a MVP at the moment, but might help you pick the perfect pick ready for the FPL launch tomorrow! ⚽️ 🏆

Day 127 of #100DaysOfCode Spent the morning working on a presentation for Friday, had a great chat with a mate who oversees large tech support team so have good advice! Had a play with my side project in the afternoon, currently still stuck halfway through a problem!

Day 126 of #100DaysOfCode Had a hackathon all day today for a major supermarket chain. Had to ideate a solution to a project brief, make wireframes, a working MVP, consider stretch goals and then put together a 10 minute presentation to show to the judges. Intense day!

Day 125 of #100DaysOfCode Spent this afternoon learning about serverless functions and getting a server that I was hosting locally deployed on Vercel. This means that I can now access this in my front end site and can use the data from the API without any CORS errors. Success!

Day 124 of #100DaysOfCode Another day, another tech test! Today spent some time parsing a JSON file and then accessing the correct data from it. Pretty satisfying and made good logical sense! Preparing for next week's activities too...both work related and for the FPL launch ⚽

Day 123 of #100DaysOfCode Had a nice chat this morning with a project teammate about our respective FPL side projects, ended up mostly discussing our GW1 squads! Spent a bit of time refactoring my code, looking a lot more accessible now. Finally fixed how to sort by difficulty!

Day 122 of #100DaysOfCode Spent the morning learning some more C# fundamentals. Then had a tech test, where some of this was put to the test...all I can say is that I did my best haha. Off to a coding meet-up tonight called TypeScript Tales and Tailwind Types! 🤓

Day 120 of #100DaysOfCode Final employability session this morning from a recruiter - good tips on how to find the jobs you're after. Then had a good first meet and greet with a company, hopefully more to follow! Spent the afternoon doing C# tutorials for tech test tomorrow 🙌

Day 119 of #100DaysOfCode Spent the morning catching up with my Week 1 SOC buddy to practice using C#. We made a basic working calculator, was fun being back in that 'complete beginner' stage again with a language! Few more tutorials in the afternoon...and a job rejection 🥹

Day 118 of #100DaysOfCode Final week of employability sessions, kicked off this morning with a talk on making sure you find the right fit with a company for your first roles in tech. Good advice! Started learning C# in the afternoon with a Code Academy course, good to expand!

Day 117 of #100DaysOfCode Only did a bit of coding today, managed to add opponent badges, an overall FDR rating and colour coded based on fixture difficulty. Looking better! Still can't get the table to order by total FDR though which is a major feature to make it truly useful!

Day 116 of #100DaysOfCode Had a nice play around with my FPL side project today, and finally got the real fixtures to start displaying within my fixture calendar. Still lots of tweaks needed, but good fun progress today! Off to see Royal Blood on Brighton Beach tonight 🤘
