Kick racism out of football. Unless the other team is Jewish.
Then you can refuse the handshake, bow your head through their anthem, and still get called principled.
Ireland did all three in Debrecen last night. UEFA’s rainbow Respect flag was planted ten yards away. No sanction. No statement. No problem.
Same sport that bans a banana, a chant, a gesture.
Different rules when the target is Israel.

Exactly this. 👇
We are brainwashing our children.
Meryl Streep is a brilliant actress. That isn't the point.
C.S. Lewis wrote Aslan as Christ. Male. He. The Son of the Emperor-Over-the-Sea.
Netflix has chosen a woman to give voice to that explicitly male Christ figure.
This doesn't happen in a cultural vacuum. For years, Hollywood has been deliberately breaking the connection between biological sex, gender and identity, particularly in stories presented to children.
Male becomes female.
Female becomes male.
And eventually the audience is expected to pretend there are no differences. As if they weren't there.
Now that treatment has reached Aslan, one of the most recognizable representations of Jesus Christ in children's literature.
This is not “artistic vision.” This switch from male to female of a representation of Christ in literature is both disrespectful of C.S. Lewis' original work and and the man himself.
At what point does “inclusion” become the deliberate erasure of the source material, and a mockery of the Christian faith at its center?

It is not always easy to understand and accept God’s ways, especially when they are very far from our own. Then the temptation arises — against all the reasoning of faith — to think that the Lord is the one who is wrong, or worse still, that he is not listening to us or is not concerned about us.

You know, Lord, the heart of the city: its lights and shadows, its noise and loneliness. Lord, may our urban communities be open and welcoming homes, places where hope is shared, where no one feels invisible, and where the joy of your Gospel shines in the hidden lives of so many brothers and sisters. What an excellent exchange between Keir Starmer and Kemi Badenoch at the PM’s final PMQs. Huge credit and congrats to them both. We should have more politics like this.

You know when a British person says “we should probably start to think about making a move” they’ve been wanting to leave for hours.
