This makes me very happy to see. My two favorite countries partnering 🇺🇸 🇬🇷 @8vc @MavrookasD @JTLonsdale
Excited for @jsantosaranda and the team. @8vc is proud to be involved here.
AI needs clear liability.
Today, @harborai_ comes out of stealth with a $10M seed round led by @Base10Partners, @AbstractVC and @8vc.
@elechi_v0, Cristian, Luis and I started @harborai_ with one mission: to insure the agentic economy.
Rather than pacing the frontier, we believe the solution lies in pushing this frontier with real skin in the game.
world order is being restored. @andrewoetting
Very proud to be a part of @GallatinAI with @agilemofo and the team. Great @8vc build company coming out of stealth.
Gallatin will help keep America and our allies ahead of the rest.
We've announced our $50M Series A.
Military logisticians deserve better than spreadsheets and endless briefings. Now we're putting Navigator in the hands of every allied sustainer.
To the spreadsheets: we're coming for you.

Horrible and tragic day. Am Yisrael Chai 🇮🇱
OCTOBER 7, 2023: SHE KNEW SHE WAS GOING TO DIE.
Libi Cohen-Meguri, a 22-year-old infantry officer, went to the Nova music festival.
She was shot while fleeing the party. At 8:11 a.m., she called her parents and said:
“I’ve been shot in the stomach, I’ve been shot in the arm, I’m losing blood. I’m going to die.”
Calmly, quietly, she understood; these were the last minutes of her life.
She asked her parents to call Tomer, her twin brother, and Maya, her little sister, and said:
“I’m going to die. I just want you to listen to me.
I love you, Yariv. You’re the best father I could have asked for.
Mom, stop screaming. Just listen to me. You are the best mother we could have ever had. Don’t forget to be a good mother to Tomer and Maya after I die.
Tomer, how lucky we were to live this life together. I love you.
My Maya, never forget—you are the treasure of my life.”
When she finished speaking, her parents told her to get out of the car, lie down on the road, and pretend to be dead.
With her last bit of strength, she got out of the car and laid down on the road.
“Mom, they’re coming to shoot me again,” Libi said after lying down.
While her mother listened on the phone, shouts in Arabic could be heard, and then a barrage of gunfire.
It didn’t stop.
It kept going, until the call was disconnected.
And that’s how Libi died—with demonic beasts from the pit of hell standing over her and emptying a full magazine into her body.
Libi died with LOVE on her lips: love for life, love for her family, and love for her people.
Her memory will forever be a blessing.
NEVER FORGET.
NEVER FORGIVE.
NEVER AGAIN IS NOW.
Israel is hunting down every single Palestinian and Hamas terrorist who participated in the October 7th Massacre—to kill them all.
They’re living on “borrowed time,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
Sooner or later, every one of these monsters will be found and eliminated.

This is such a courageous act by the passengers. These men are hero’s and saved hundreds of lives. It’s crazy to think how long this bad actor was in the system before trying to pull this off. Terrorism is scary.
Incredible team. Incredible company.

Boring Company is working on a simple, precursor Hyperloop tunnel between Austin and San Antonio (>200 mph).
Due to traffic congestion, that journey can currently take up to 2.5 hours. @BoringCompany can reduce that to a consistent <30 mins.

BREAKING: Joe Lonsdale (@JTLonsdale) and Lior Susan are building a new prime for global resilience.
Prime Minute, the stealth startup backed by @8vc and @EclipseVentures is building around some of our most critical potential disasters, including wildfires, critical compute infrastructure, mass evacuation, earthquakes, and severe storms.
Wildfire appears to be Prime Minute’s most mature market, centered on an aerial attack solution. Public footage appears to show a helicopter-deployed effector releasing fire-suppression material onto a targeted area. NIFC reported 77,850 wildfires across the U.S. in 2025, with the Palisades and Eaton fires alone causing up to $164 billion in property and capital losses, according to UCLA. CAL FIRE itself has a $5.3B+ budget and is one of the primary agencies managing wildfire response across California.
Other solutions include effectors (hardware), C2 (command and control for missions), mission design, mission planning, mission intel, simulations, and resilience services, which Atoms Not Bits finds to be the most interesting.
Atoms Not Bits sees the larger opportunity as on-demand emergency response, bringing the best hard tech together with elite operators and emergency response crews ready to deploy.
Awesome time with @Jason_A_Scharf and Max chatting @Seshproducts , @8vc and other off the cuff topics. Thanks for having us!
“There’s no other consumer product category in the world that trades like that.” That is @JakeMedwell of @8vc talking about nicotine pouches.
8VC rarely backs consumer companies. @Seshproducts founder Max Cunningham built a regulated business with in-house US manufacturing and software-like margins. Once you understand the company, the investment starts to make sense.
Max drove from Vancouver to Austin planning to stay for a month. During that month, Sesh closed an oversubscribed round and landed Buc-ee’s. He stayed.
The deal becomes a way into a much broader conversation about where ambitious companies belong.
Jake is blunt that frontier AI still belongs in San Francisco. He is equally clear that Austin is developing its own advantage around physical products, experienced operators, open networks, and people who want to build companies and families in the same place.
One unlikely deal ends up explaining a lot about the new Austin.
