Heads up, West Valley: NWS Phoenix says a low pressure system could bring storms midweek, with flash flooding, strong winds and hail possible. If you drive through Tolleson, Avondale or Buckeye, plan around flooded washes and never cross a running one.

Heads up West Valley: westbound Grand Ave gets restricted between 57th Dr and Northern starting 9pm Sunday for paving. If you're heading home toward Glendale, Peoria or Sun City that way Sunday night, give yourself a few extra minutes. Fresh asphalt on Grand is overdue.
Starting at 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, US 60 (Grand Avenue) westbound will be restricted between 57th Drive and Northern Avenue. This is for paving work.

Dust blowing over I-10 in Pinal County this afternoon, right on the drive between the Valley and Tucson. NWS Phoenix had dust storm warnings up near Sacaton and Casa Blanca. If you hit a wall of it: pull off as far as you can, lights off, foot off the brake, wait it out.
Dust is also blowing near and over I-10 east of the Phoenix metro area.
