One old crypto-cypherpunk idea that I think will come back with a vengeance is autonomous organizations, where you combine the automation of smart contracts for deterministic functions + ai for subjective input: DAOs 2.0.
User-ownership on the internet sounds incredible until you need to figure out how to compensate everyone fairly. Bitcoin rewards hash rate. DeFi rewards liquidity. But how do you measure and reward contributions that aren't so easily quantified? @jessewldn on how AI might solve one of crypto's hardest problems: allocating ownership at scale.

Today we're highlighting this episode from the last season of @gov_futures, where @Jamilya_eth & @bbeats speak to Amber Case (@caseorganic) - Cyborg Anthropologist, technologist, and founder of the Calm Technology Institute. Exploring the idea if new governance systems in their essence should look less like disruption-and more like remembering what already works. Find it here: youtube.com/watch?v=bk-67lML…

Today the EF and OA announce zkAPIβ€”a new means for private AI Picture this: deposit ether into a vault, sign a zk proof, get a fixed amount of private inference. Advances like these help us move past middlemen's requirements that we link our data and identities. Read more below
Quick updates on the Open Anonymity project (@OpenAnonProject)! 1. OA-chat is live! You can now signup: chat.openanonymity.ai 2. We collaborated with @ethereumfndn (@VitalikButerin, @DavideCrapis, @VittoStack, @curryrasul) to develop zkAPI, a new zero-knowledge protocol for accessing gated / paid APIs with unlinkability. It’s like a generalization of OA unlinkable inference that also abstracts payments away. Now also available on OA-chat! I'm excited because more infrastructure should exist where privacy and sovereignty is foundational and people are in control.

im working on a project that would lead to approximately 150 pull requests to all ethereum clients. my main goal is that maintainers don't kill me. if it works out, and all the client teams respond well, we would have a harmonized trace_* api that works the same in any client, and even works in geth.

no more excuses. encrypt the mempool.
It turns out all you need to deploy an encrypted mempool (via Batched Threshold Encryption) is an off-the shelf DKG. No CRS required. Ciphertext overhead is 2G1 + G2 + 2F and partial decryptions are a single G1 element. Decryption runs in O(B log^2 B) time.

You don’t fully grasp how much of your life is tracked until you’re sitting in a courtroom, watching federal prosecutors use your digital history against you, down to your most harmless Google searches. Your entire life becomes an open book, and even your most innocent actions can be twisted into something sinister. They get to tell the most damning version of your story. To tell yours in your own words, you have to take the stand.
