Massive congratulations to @FrankieRunham10 who has signed his first professional contract with @ChelseaFC after 10 years in the club’s Academy.

My amazing wife Helen died 3 yrs ago today and this morning, just after 7am, I woke and was side-swiped by a colossal wave of sadness. There will be zero sport in this 🧵 but if you want to join me for a few minutes of non-linear grief, please do. 1/n

Yet another example of how commercially valuable top women’s players are to clubs and brands.

"I wish they hired her for the men's team too...Emma Hayes is a perfect fit. I could not be more excited. They got THE BEST in the game." – @MichaelRyanRuiz says hiring Emma Hayes away from Chelsea to become the next head coach of the USWNT is a monster move.

At Wembley for both the @EFAA_Official and International Sport Tax Association Conference.
Between those and the @LawInSport event earlier, all in collaboration with @ucfb, Wembley is absolutely the place to be today for anyone working in football. 🤓📑⚽️
At the Barcelona - Sevilla match where I’ve just seen 19 year-old @SalmaParalluelo score four goals in the first half. 🤯🔥⚽️
Easy to see why she came in third in the Ballon d’Or voting, behind only Aitana Bonmatí and Sam Kerr and she’s nowhere close to her peak yet.
Emma Hayes has led Chelsea to 15 trophies and counting since 2015 alone.
Will be a huge loss for Chelsea, but I am very, very excited about the prospect of her leading the USWNT back to where they belong. 💙⚽️🇺🇸
That’s a hat trick for 22 year old, Sjoeke Nüsken.
@emmahayes1 and @ChelseaFCW are, by far, the best in the country and probably 1 or 1A in the world at identifying and recruiting the best young talents.
Chelsea have hit the post three times, but this Brighton GK has been doing incredibly well to keep Chelsea scoreless so far.
With that goal, @samkerr1 has passed Kim Little and Nikita Parris and is now the sixth all-time leading goalscorer in WSL history, with 55.
She’s only played 69 WSL matches. 🐐
Niamh Charles has been outstanding today. She’s had Emma Hayes’ trust for a while and this could be the season where the world takes notice. 🙌⚽️
Huge thanks to the 400 clients, friends + colleagues who came to the launch event to celebrate our new sports + entertainment team at Lawrence Stephens!
Everyone in the room has played a role in our success + I’m extremely grateful! 💙
