Excited to share our latest work in @MaterHoriz collaborating with Tae Ann Kim research group in KIST. This work highlights the novel ways to dissipate high strain rate stress wave by harnessing accelerated disulfide bond exchange reactions with the addition of a catalyst.

Molecular switches have evolved again into the next chapter. Congrats @Lerch_Lab!!
Our work, led by @shucong_li_hhh and @Lerch_Lab, is published on @Nature today. Micropillars made of liquid crystal elastomers and exposed to light exhibiting complex dynamic pattern evolution and collective communication in arrays. Congratulations!

Has anyone used @AntonPaar MCR 702e rheometer? Does Dynamic Mechanical Analysis add-on mode work well? We are interested in characterizing elastomers using 702e DMA mode.
A great opportunity if you are looking for the postdoc position in chemistry/material research areas. Highly collaborative and creative atmosphere of @ReadAlanizteam will help you reach your academic goals.

Our team's work highlighted in the Grad Student Appreciation week. @IllinoisMatSE @Illinois_Alma
As we celebrate Grad Student Appreciation Week, Beckman highlights a research project that addressed supply issues for COVID-19 testing. This collaborative project would not have happened without the contributions of graduate students.
