I think I may post this photo once a week for the next four years to remind the Democrats what a leader who fights for women's rights looks like.

Los Angeles has always been dry. It has always had strong Santa Ana winds. It has always had a problem handling heavy rain, and in keeping hillsides from turning to mud. It has always had earthquakes.
But to not do everything possible to mitigate the degree of damage when those events occur is to naively assume they're never occur again. That's like someone never buying insurance because they assume it won't ever be necessary. Or never getting any kind of vaccine, because they don't think they're going to "catch it." We get insurance because events might occur. We get vaccinated because we might catch it. In both cases, our preparation reduces the blow when the events actually land on us.
Karen Bass @MayorOfLA and @GavinNewsom idea of preparation was to just cross their fingers that no event ever befell CA and LA. That is not leadership. That is not even basic management. That is irresponsibility and childishness.
They are both complete failures and should be removed from office, so that adults can take care of this city and state.

ABC 7 JUST SAID THE STORY IS FALE THAT BASS FIRED THE LA FIRE CHIEF CROWLEY
Whatever the # is spent on illegals should be redirected for citizens of US. Fire, education, medical services etc all need more investment in Los Angeles.
California should take that over $20 billion per year they spend on benefits and services for illegals and use it to rebuild LA.
Put. America. First.

Californians are blaming insurance companies for pulling out of the state.
Insurance companies are blaming politicians for capping rates and making it impossible to earn a profit in California.
Maybe the root problem is most Californians can't afford a market rate for insurance on their homes because their home values doubled while they owned it and rebuilding in this state costs 200% of the home's value.
It would take perhaps a 75% drop in home values and 50% drop in rebuilding costs to make insurance affordable.
You can't get there from here.
