the perks are the people and @max11free is one of our biggest perks (and can confirm firsthand that he still sources his own deals and candidates)

in the first few days of 2007 i got to meet my childhood hero @tonyhawk. he was the coolest dude and had an actual conversation with my weird 14 year-old self
today we (@tryramp) announced tonystockprotrader.com/ and life comes full circle
trying to keep ripping @tonyhawk, ever the inspiration
We regret the delay.
Stoked to finally share that Ramp
is in 🇬🇧!

UK finance teams have waited long enough.
Ramp is now live in the UK.
Sorry we’re late.

even as a non-engineer i’d give up most other perks and tools before i’d be willing to part ways with inspect
It's rare to see a non-AI frontier lab build an in-house AI coding tool that works so much better than what frontier labs have to offer. Ramp did this with Inspect: an AI coding harness fully integrated with their systems, running on cloud machines, and being a smash hit inside the company.
Ramp basically runs full-blown cloud development environments (CDEs) for agents to build code on, and validate it, and has made this tool "multi-player" by default, with no opt out.
We find it likely that the likes of Codex, Claude Code and GitHub Copilot will build similar tooling in a few months' time to what Ramp already has in-place.

Ramp has become the latest US tech company to bet big on London.
The $44bn company recently opened a brand new London office ahead of an official launch later this year.
It follows a long list of huge US tech companies that are massively expanding into London:
> OpenAI
> Anthropic
> Corgi
> Cursor
> Listen Labs
> Runway
Now @tryramp is here as well. The expansion is being headed up by @JacobWallenberg with @eric_oancea running it from Europe
WELCOME @eglyman, @karimatiyeh
Exactly 7 years ago today, Ramp held its first board meeting
I remember walking out & discussing with @rabois that we needed to invest more
A few weeks later we led the Series A w/ $10m @ $100m post
Today's board meeting is Day 2,690 & Ramp is ramping faster than ever before

wow this is my favorite careers page
We only hire builders (and we’re on a hiring spree)!
Reply with something you've built. I'll read them personally. We’re interviewing the best ones.
You’ll be a good fit if you:
- work best without permission
- default to “how could I automate this”
- had weird teenage hobbies
- spend your sunday making side projects
- have more Claude agents than cousins
- shipped something this week
- make prototypes, not powerpoints
- don’t like hierarchy
- are good at games: chess, monopoly, poker
- would take dinner with Elon over $100k
Good luck,
Eric
I'm a full-time Ramp shill but today is extra special.
I've spent 14 years in the US and can't wait to get to bring the benefit of all the hard work of the @tryramp team to companies in Europe.
