After CRYSTAL LAKE, this man shouldn’t be allowed near a television the same way diddlers shouldn’t be allowed near playgrounds.
Brad Caleb Kane says ‘IT: WELCOME TO DERRY’ Season 2 will be like a “Warner Bros. gangster picture through the lens of Pennywise”
The new season is set in 1935 & features The Bradley Gang — a gang of bank robbers that become part of a nightmare after arriving in Derry.

CRYSTAL LAKE is dog cheeks. GTFOH with this precocious Jason. My Jason doesn’t read or even have emotions.

Just in case you are interested in what played at the all 35mm @exhumedfilms horrorthon 25 1/2 hours) at the colonial this weekend. Howling 3 is wild. Mimic is terrific. I wanted to like Morgus. And amityville horror is such a dull misfire. boxd.it/Y2cXE
Hilarious to read a bunch of slobs who dress like Gutter from PCU start analyzing the clothing in promo stills like they’re suddenly Vogue fashion correspondents. “I dunno, too muted. Needs color.” Brother, your wardrobe is all flannel and dork ass movie reference tees, get real.
CARRIE: the best thing Flanagan’s made since MIDNIGHT MASS. Why anyone would want another literal adaptation of a book that’s been done before perfectly is baffling. Instead he uses it to smuggle themes about youth, spiritual violence, holy war. Incredible, thoughtful television.
Just because you don’t like a thing doesn’t give you the right to post major spoilers like a glib dickhead. Some of is are still trying to watch and process the eight-hour thing that came out three days ago. Go outside dweebs.
He also made a weird, sorta anti-woke rap battle movie that was championed by many during a genre festival run. Bizarre heel turn.
Article written by filmmaker Joseph Kahn, whose last feature was a horror movie that was submitted to every festival (including ours) and premiered at TIFF.

Not spoiling anything, but it’s wild to watch THE SOCIAL RECKONING one week after DIGGER. Gonna be a lot of similar “EDDINGTON was right” posts (if anyone actually watches both movies).
(SOCIAL RECKONING is actually pretty good, too. All the best/worst Sorkin tics/tendencies/fascinations on display, often simultaneously.)
I attempted to put some form of coherent (brief) thoughts together regarding how I feel about THE SOCIAL RECKONING.

“you didn’t get it” versus “people are morons for liking this” is what a lot discourse boils down to today
