MY MUM - PRAYERS
During the week of RWENZORI MARATHON every year many people Ofcourse for the success of the event.
But the one I engage most is my own mother( a praying mother is special) and this year, she had visited us.
Just told her, I have left MAMA but KAZI YA NI KUOMBA TUU.
A marathon up country is a nightmare in terms of logistics, this year people drove from as far is Dar el salaam Tanzania, stopped in Nairobi, from Nairobi to Kampala and Kampala to kasese.
Am not perfect but I believe prayers work but not in isolation. Always pray for Gods protection while traveling, for wisdom for the team and Gods favor.
Am not saying nothing won’t happen in future but for 5yrs now, no major incidence just basic isolated incidents which we always try hard to address as organizing team.
It’s easier to organize something in Kampala but 8hrs by car from Kampala is a very different story. People flying in from around the world and others driving in from around the region is something special.
