I am extremely excited to announce my commitment to continue my Academic and Athletic career at Butler University. I want to thank my teammates, friends, family, and especially my parents for all of their constant support and sacrifices. Thank you to all my coaches and trainers including Coach Dk, Spencer, Javy, Coach Colon, and Coach Vanmill for helping me grow as a player and person. As well as Coach Pedlowe and Oliveira for guiding me throughout this process. Finally, I want to thank Coach Beemer and the Butler Baseball coaching staff for believing in me and providing me with this opportunity to play Division 1 baseball. Go Bulldogs 🔵⚪️ #TheButlerWay

Welcome to the Cubs Scout Team @JacobJelinek ! Jacob is a @HCrossBaseball commit. A 6’2” middle infielder with the range and arm to make tough plays look routine — and a knack for finding barrels at the plate. We’re excited to have him with us this fall!

Jacob Jelinek (‘26, IL) with a base knock here as he loads up and goes to get this one. Deep hands w/ good whip & feel to drive this one. Can impact a bit w/ strength off it. Handled the bat well. @PG_Illinois @PG_Uncommitted @2021Elite #BattleForTheMW
