With Trump’s regime accelerating attacks on our constitution and our neighbors, my team and I have made the difficult decision to suspend my campaign for City Council to focus on fighting Trump’s authoritarianism and defend our communities.

Minneapolis was the first city and Minnesota was the first state in the country to protect trans people. I will not let Trump or anyone else take those protections away. Thank you to AG @keithellison for fighting back.

The reporting around the organization Our Rescue over this past week highlights the serious concerns that many of our residents in Minneapolis have had when it comes to addressing comprehensive public safety.
A group that is embroiled with sexual abuse charges and has a history of peddling in far right extremist Q Anon conspiracy theories should have never even been considered for a partnership with the city.
