Let me fix that tweet for you: 1. The people rioting in Paris are criminals who are committing crimes. 2. Destroying hard-working people’s businesses is evil and not a valid form of protest.
From the high schools of France to the streets of Madrid to the universities of Tirana, young people are telling their governments the same thing: in an age of massive wealth inequality, they want a future they can believe in. In France, students and teachers are asking for safe schools, enough teachers and smaller classes. In Spain, for affordable rent and housing. In Albania, for good jobs and an end to corruption. @JDVance says this is what happens when a nation lets in too many immigrants from the global south. He is not just morally wrong, but misreading the moment. The is what happens when nations let wealth and power accumulate in the hands of a few. This is what happens when young people lose hope in their future. In America, let us listen to our young. We need an economic and political transformation. America's Next New Deal.

Ben Horowitz on the two skills that will matter more than ever before in an AI world: creativity and relationships. "I think those are things that are hard to get out of today's AI in a very good way. So if you don't have instincts around those things, I don't know if all the AI in the world could help you. Whereas the grind-them-out tasks, AI is already really good at." "Do you have original ideas? Can you establish and maintain very high quality, high fidelity relationships with people off the rip? I think people don't think about that enough." "One big advantage I think that we have is we really look for that. Many just ignore that whole thing, like it's not a thing... It's a thing." @bhorowitz w/ @Tocelot

Macron blames France’s economic problems on the Iran war. But after nearly a decade in power: Government debt soared from 97% to 116% of GDP. Budget deficit doubled from 2.6% to 5.1% Growth has been anemic throughout his nine years, slowing to 0.8% in 2025. Poverty increased by 1.25 million people. All before the Iran war. Macron can’t escape his own record.

Concerning.
Qatar has always loved Hamas and hoped that Hamas succeeded in all its endeavors. In 2012, the emir of Qatar was the first foreign leader to visit the Gaza Strip after Hamas took power five years earlier. For more than a decade, Qatar poured money into the Hamas-run territory. Many buildings in Gaza were funded by Qatar – apartment blocks, hospital wings, etc. Three years after the October 7 Massacre, we still have not received answers from Qatar to some very important questions: Given your many years of investment in Gaza, were you upset that Hamas carried out the October 7 Massacre? Given what Hamas did, do feel that your investments in Gaza were a mistake? Given that the leaders of Hamas live in your capital city, were you aware of their desire or their plan to carry out a major military operation? If yes, what did you do with this information? If no, do you feel that your hospitality was abused? What was your reaction on October 7 when you saw Hamas leaders on Al Jazeera in Doha thanking God for the success of their operation? Were you ok with the fact that Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh broadcast a declaration of war from your capital city, on the television network that you control? Please retweet these important questions and tag me in order to alert me of any replies from Qatari officials or friends of the House of Thani. I look forward to continued dialogue on these issues of mutual concern.

Going viral again all over Israel news. This chinese man is a legend
A Chinese man stopped on the streets of New York City shares why he’s supported Israel since 1993, when he first watched Schindler’s List. Wearing a pro-Israel shirt, he delivers a message to those who oppose the country: “Israel is not going anywhere.”

OK, now tell me that this is about the state of French education…. That many pro-Palestinian supporters are not infused with antisemitism…. Tell me that this is not pure antisemitism….
BREAKING: Rioters have broken into the synagogue on Burnouf Street in Paris and vandalized it. Why would young students allegedly protesting against the poor state of France’s educational system attack a synagogue. Could there be more to these protests that the mainstream media is avoiding to tell people about? xitter.cf/BastionMediaFR/status/…

Macron isn’t recognizing “Palestine” to promote peace — he’s trying to appease the Islamists in his own backyard. It won’t work. They won’t thank him. They’ll take his streets — and then his country. Israel will be fine; France is finished.

It’s very clear to me that people are failing to connect what is happening in France with the wider conflict involving Israel, Iran and the movements organizing around Palestine. When Palestinian advocacy groups bring their messaging, flags and political demands into school protests, people need to examine what those organizations are trying to accomplish. Those organizations are bringing a separate political agenda into a domestic dispute. They will continue to do so and a big part of why this is prior administrations have continuously allow the IRGC to do whatever they wanted. The people who are outrageous the protesting are also some of the people, not all, but some that are outraged at the war in Iran. Who do you think funds a lot of these protests? Do you think that all of these Palestinian causes are funded by who? Obviously they’re funded by terrorist money and they are funded by Iran. Wanting peace does not answer the question of what happens when the Islamic Republic is left free to finance, arm and support groups like Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis. And that’s before we even talk about the nuclear weapons. Weakness and lack of deterrence which is what a lot of these restrainer people who are really upset with Donald Trump, and willing to throw away the midterms over, never seem to understand. They only understand the immigration, but it goes deeper than that. To me, deterrence is central to this entire discussion. Immigration policy is part of the picture, but so are money, ideological influence and the willingness to impose consequences on regimes that sponsor terrorism. There is an inversion of morality when America’s exercise of power is automatically treated as aggression while the regimes financing violence are excused, minimized or allowed to continue. Of course, untracked immigration is a huge problem, but so is unchecked Islamic aggression, fueled by money and appeasement.

French news CNews reported this morning that the rioters had addresses of Jewish shop owners and that, on one Marseille street, all Jewish-owned businesses were set on fire while Muslim-owned ones were not.

I am writing this in a pain I cannot imagine. My dear, beloved France which opened my eyes in 2010 and helped me live with a kind French Jewish family so that I might expel hate from my heart is now falling into the hands of those who wanted to globalize the intifada.

We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris. These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.

In March, a terrorist drove a truck packed with explosives into Temple Israel in Michigan. More than 140 children and staff were inside. A massacre was narrowly averted. This is what antisemitism looks like in 2026. And it’s a global crisis. We can debate geopolitics in the Middle East. But people like Eddie Rubin should NEVER have to wonder whether protecting Jewish lives is a partisan issue. Jewish safety is not Republican or Democrat. It is a moral obligation.
"As a lifelong Democrat, I have a very hard time finding myself at home in the Democratic Party right now," Michigan voter Eddie Rubin tells @tonydokoupil. Rubin, whose two youngest children survived the March 12 attack at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield when a man rammed a truck into the building, says antisemitism is one of the most important issues in the midterm elections and he wants to see leaders from both parties address it. "This should be an issue that is on everyone's mind and a human issue," Rubin says. "It's not a party issue." Tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT, watch voters like Rubin take their questions directly to Vice President JD Vance in "Things That Matter: A Town Hall with Vice President JD Vance," on CBS and @paramountplus.
