Solana has put a date on its next big test: October 21.
Alpenglow is targeting finality in 150 milliseconds, down from roughly 12.8 seconds.
That could make transactions feel almost instant. Now the real question: can it deliver on mainnet?
If it does, the SOL conversation gets very interesting.

90% of AI Engineering in 2026 is mastering these 10 concepts (the rest is bikeshedding model choice):
1) Contracts, not prompts
Treat the LLM call like an API: schema in/out, enums, max lengths, and unit tests for edge cases.
2) Latency and cost budgets
p95 tokens drive UX and bill. Cache aggressively, stream responses, and set hard cutoffs per route.
3) Data flywheel and provenance
Know what went into the response: docs version, embedding model, filters, and why a chunk was retrieved.
4) Retrieval that survives production
Chunking, overlap, metadata, and hybrid search beat clever prompts; reindexing needs to be safe and incremental.
5) Evaluation you can run in CI
Golden sets + task metrics (exact match, citation precision, jailbreak rate). Humans for the last mile, not the first.
6) Debugging nondeterminism
Capture full traces: prompt, tools called, retrieved context, temperature, and random seeds when supported.
7) Tool use and state management
Tools fail. Make every tool call idempotent, add timeouts, and persist state so retries don’t double-charge or double-write.
8) Guardrails and security boundaries
Treat model output as untrusted input: sandbox code exec, restrict egress, redact secrets, and log prompt injection attempts.
9) Observability that answers why, not just what
Per-request spans across retriever, reranker, model, and tools; track token counts, cache hit rate, and refusal reasons.
10) Common real-world failure modes
Context stuffing that hides the answer, retrieval drift after doc updates, and silent prompt changes that tank evals overnight

🤖 Made with AI
In any negotiation, the first person whose limit becomes visible is usually the one who pays it, because most of what we call bargaining power is simply keeping a number to yourself.
@OasisProtocol brings this same idea on-chain with confidential computing on the Oasis Network, letting smart contracts process sensitive data without exposing it, all secured and powered by the native $ROSE token that enables verifiable privacy for any chain, application, or builder.

This week, I’m releasing a 1 hour 45 minute conversation with @RaoulGMI - the Co-Founder and CEO of @RealVision.
We talk about:
• Why the people who sell near the top never put the same amount back in
• Whether he has actually made any money on his big $SUI bet so far
• Why people copying his trades without his income and risk tolerance get hurt
• Why only Ethereum, @Solana and @SuiNetwork held their economic density through the crash
• Why Hyperliquid sits outside his thesis
• His views on $ZEC and $NEAR: privacy versus AI as the next narratives to attract capital
• Why he thinks the economic singularity arrives sooner than 2030
• How he treats a losing position as new money instead of a drawdown
• Why buying deep sell-offs got him back to all-time highs before the market does
• Why he is launching a digital art fund called Epoch One
• What his book, The Everything Code, says about debasement
• Why he build an AI Avatar
And much more...
Podcast out this week!
Friday’s $9.48M was the second biggest single-day inflow in $LINK ETF history.
The products have been live 311 days. Cumulative net inflow is $178.44M.
So the second best day ever is about 5% of everything that’s come in since launch. Make of that what you will.

Dots Gain New Mobile Features!
On #ChatGPT on #iOS and #Android, users can create a Dot with a custom name and appearance, enable plugins, and set it as the default companion.
With #Codex integration, it can start coding tasks and resume unfinished ones using ChatGPT history for earlier Codex tasks and configured automations.
It can also view and edit scheduled tasks in ChatGPT Work, including recurring report schedules and automated processes

⚡️ x402 might be one of the most natural use cases Stellar $XLM has ever had.
Think about what machine payments actually need:
💸 Tiny transaction costs
⏱️ Fast settlement
💵 Stablecoins like USDC
🌐 24/7 availability
🧩 Smart-contract logic
🤖 Payments triggered directly from software
That list looks suspiciously like what Stellar has spent years building.
Now x402 adds the missing internet-native layer.
An API can simply say:
“Pay this amount to continue.”
The payment settles on Stellar.
The service responds.
Done. 🔄
No checkout page.
No card network.
No subscription account.
No human workflow in the middle.
That changes the role of Stellar.
It’s no longer only infrastructure for people sending money across borders.
It can become infrastructure for software exchanging value across the internet.
Stablecoins gave Stellar digital money.
x402 could give that money a native language for the web. 🌐🤝
That’s a much bigger $XLM story than “AI hype.”
It’s a new payment primitive.

📊 Cross-border payments gain speed and scale
Financial institutions, FinTechs and central banks are strengthening cross-border payment capabilities through new partnerships and payment initiatives. The latest developments focus on stablecoin-enabled transactions, international payment connectivity and faster movement of funds across markets.
FinTech | Initiative/Partner | Focus
Kora → One Rail → Stablecoin Cross-Border Payments
Central Bank of The UAE → Morocco Central Banks → Payments Accord → Payment Connectivity
@Mambu_com → @MastercardNews → Cross-Border Payments
@AlJaziraCare | بنك الجزيرة → Thunes → International Payments
These initiatives highlight the growing demand for seamless, secure and efficient cross-border payment solutions. As businesses and consumers become increasingly global, financial institutions are investing in technologies and partnerships that support faster transactions and broader payment reach.

30 DAYS → 1 DAY.
That’s what Stellar $XLM just did to one of structured finance’s most painful settlement processes. 🏦⚙️
PwC Germany, EOS Group, tokenforge and AllUnity have built an end-to-end settlement system on Stellar.
Before:
➖ Spreadsheets.
➖ Manual reconciliation.
➖ Multiple intermediaries.
➖ 30+ days per monthly cycle.
Now:
➖ The waterfall logic runs inside a smart contract.
➖ Investor allocations are calculated automatically.
➖ Payouts settle almost instantly in MiCA-compliant EURAU.
➖ And the whole cycle is completed in one day. ⚡️🇪🇺
This is the kind of blockchain adoption that actually matters.
Not replacing finance with crypto.
Making existing finance dramatically faster.
And Stellar $XLM is underneath it.
Traditional bridges have proven unsafe, exposing institutions to risk.
@GregoryLBell shares with @Finextra how CLPR, the cross-ledger protocol in development by @hashgraph solves this: trust is established cryptographically, directly ledger to ledger, without bridges or intermediaries.
