Immersive day for @RedingCWS @ @CWHM. Students were transported back to WWII as they fastened sheet metal for planes, engaged in a mock supply drop, and attempted to break codes & ciphers. Sadly they will not be getting me a trip on a Lancaster for Christmas…maybe next year.
Tonight @ BR’s Culture Night we celebrated our differences and common interests! What a blessing to work within such a diverse & talented community of students and educators! @BishopReding @HCDSB @ms_m_finn @MsBonsuTweets

'Who Dun it?' Murder Mystery at Bishop Reding! Can you solve who murdered the Archduke and his wife Sophie in 1914? Our students could!

ALT Students taking Canadian History this semester had the chance to participate in a historical murder mystery in order to explore the direct cause of the First World War and engage in the historical thinking concepts. As detectives, students were tasked to analyze evidence and use critical thinking skills to determine who murdered Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Sophie. Setting the scene with murder mystery music set the scene for an interesting learning opportunity!
