Football is a beautiful game. ❤️
🗣 Enzo Maresca: "Chelsea tried to go man-to-man with PSG when I left and they destroyed them.
Usually the team that was defending found the solution by going man-to-man. Now the teams that try to build up are trying to find solutions against man-to-man."

Good morning Beautiful People,
Some days seem overly mechanical, others boringly repetitive, however the true lesson is having a reason to be consistent in doing good work despite odds. With perseverence, one day, that consistent work will turn gold!
Have a wonderful day ahead.
Good morning Beautiful People,
Better to enjoy what the eyes see than to wander after one’s desires. You deserve to enjoy your hardwork.
Have a wonderful day ahead.

What i dont like about this app and Chelsea fanbase in general is genuine inability to separate current events with bigger picture. Anyone saying Xabi Alonso is the problem here and should be sacked after 5 PL gameweeks in my opinion is not a Chelsea fan for the right reasons.
Managers who like their teams to play in a certain way will always need time to put that system into place at a new club. So even if he came into fully settled squad, we would need time for him to coach players what to do and when to do it, and make them believe in that process that will longterm help us become better.
So in perfect scenario, it would still be struggle and would need time. Our scenario is far away from perfect. We didnt bring a midfielder after Enzo left, we got JP, James, Caicedo, Palestra etc injured, and thats imo practically all starters for us when fully fit ( you can disagree on Palestra, but there's a reason he played all preseason games, he is present and future of this club ). So, at the moment, we have our manager patching the holes left in the squad without getting any stability because of injuries + SD's blunder on the last day of transfer window.
Should we be disappointed by how we performed last few games? Absolutely. That's fully valid. Should we expect more? Undoubtly. But should we turn on Alonso for it? Absolutely not. Not a single manager out there can take this team in our current situation and make us perform immediately with less struggle than what Xabi is facing.
Being sad and loosing your heads cos we arent winning is one thing, but we set a dangerous precedent if we point to our manager again. That should absolutely not be a case going forward, especially if we want any progress longterm. Arteta went tru it, Guardiola did aswell, Klopp did when he took over Liverpool first. You dont teach intricate tactics, patterns of play and timings in 2 months.
You need lot of time to translate to players exactly what you want from them. We need more intensity and taking responsibility, i fully agree on that. But these things need time, culture doesnt change over night, and constant change doesnt help it aswell.
Talking about Maresca ( which i find disgusting given what happened there ), mentioning Tuchel's quick transformation and similar things dont change where we are at the moment. Its not the same team, not the same opposition, and not the same level. Allow Xabi to work with these players, there is not a single option better than him out there. And i find it disturbing that i even feel the urge and need to say these things. We as a fanbase gotta do better, cos this is gettin absurd.
In Xabi i trust 💙

Xabi’s Chelsea is meant to hunt like a pack & breathe like one organism. Fluid in possession, ruthless in the press, patient in construction & explosive in transition. We don't want possession, we want to command space. Not just to attack, but to suffocate. Patience, my friend.
Good morning Beautiful People,
In a time of fake, rumors, and untrue, filter the news your hear before you process them, act on them, or spread them.
Have a wonderful day ahead.

We've already played Fulham, Brighton and Arsenal and we're still in the top 4. Last season those 3 games cost us 9 points. This season we've taken 6 points from the same fixtures. Progress. 👏🏾🔵

We have been physically bullied at the Emirates for a while now until yesterday, it was steal for steal despite our midfield problems. The walls of my emotions are uncracked, i know what I saw. Fine margins. See you at the bridge, I swear to God your days are numbered now. 1/2🫰
Good morning Beautiful People,
It's good to start one's day with a positive attitude, so in the face of doubt, stay optimistic, and never relent.
Have a wonderful day ahead.

That was a very good game, by the way. I think we could have defended both goals better, Martinez not calculating his move and James loosing his man. but we’re still a team in progress and there’s clearly room for improvement. Things will definitely get better as the team continues to develop.
Up next is Leeds on Wednesday.
Good morning Beautiful People,
Be mild, be kind, be patient, with yourself. Things might not be progressing at a pace your prefer, however appreciate your little effort, while you never relent.
Enjoy your day.

Imagine Chelsea signed Valentin Barco for £60m from Lyon Chelsea fans would have been overwhelmingly happy.
I bet my last penny on the fact that almost 90% of Chelsea fans haven't watched Lamine Camara but the moment we were link with him he became a world classs in their eyes.
Any player who was pick among the 26 players to represent Argentina at the 2026 World Cup is good to play for Chelsea and Barco is not different.
Chelsea team is as good as any Premier League team. Our only problem as always have been a good manager and in Xabi Alonso I'm 💯 sure we have one of the best managers in the world.
Stop belittling Chelsea because a certain player has left to a certain team.
The just ended transfer window have been the best under BlueCo and they need to be applauded.
Now what the players and the coach need is our unflinching support.

✍️ My prrsonal interpretation of our deadline day drama is that Chelsea obviously wanted to go into the season with the existing squad if they didn't find a good value-for-money replacement for Enzo.
That explains why we didn't take necessary precautions and even pulled out when Monaco demanded €70m for Camara. We were ready to accept our squad rather than overpay.
I believe we must have checked and understood that Caicedo isn't seriously injured, because if he is, we would have done everything possible to sign someone before deadline.
Also, it's obvious that our number one target is Alex Scott, so the thought process must have been, "Why spend close to Scott's asking price instead of waiting for one season to sign Scott?"
I believe we understood the danger but felt it was manageable with or without replacing Enzo. The good thing is that Alonso is a big part of decision-making, so if he didn't mind, why do I need to bother?
Benefits: This will give us a bit more time to develop Barco and see the level he will reach before the January or summer window. We can always evaluate. Also, Alonso will have time to fully develop his squad and understand the most suitable number 6 profile to add to the squad if we still need to.
The bottom line is, if Chelsea wanted a midfielder at all costs, we would have signed one. There must be a good reason for that. We have to accept it and hope they are right.
Your PL August Player of the Month nomination is here. Guess the club with 2 nominees, and a higher chance to have its player win it 🙂 #CFC
