Gatekeeping my favorite Caribbean barbecue in London because it’s also my regular for pub trivia and I don’t need more competition getting in the way of my £50 bar tab

Matriculated in the MPhil two years ago, still considering a pivot to law.
I matriculated in the DPhil ten years ago today, dropping out of law school at the last minute. Truly a generational fumbling of the bag.

While I have your attention @timex, any idea how to get my hands on a Brooks Brothers Marlin collab? Disappointed they seem to have disappeared from inventory and never turn up on the secondary market

I hadn't read Why Nations Fail, so I never participated in Acemoglu/Robinson discourse on Twitter. But now, having done the reading, and prepped for tonight's interview with Robinson, I think their work is far more thoughtful and creative than the typical academic econ output.

Don’t make me tap the sign
love that it took the ai surveillance state chore coat to open people’s eyes to the not so subtle retvrn-coded conservatism of the “make men men again” menswear accounts. this is the woman who was posting “girls just want a sparkly dress and a racist husband” 8 months ago lmfao
