my favorite genre of complainer is the people who fancy themselves as built different because they grew up with the ā€œharderā€ puzzles of the OG which were, in fact, designed to be solvable by 8-year-olds

Iā€™m not even very far in, but Fortuneā€™s Weave is doing some really cool stuff with its lore that retroactively makes me like the Sothisverse a lot more like it might be my favorite FE world now and thatā€™s coming from someone who wanted to like 3H a lot more than I actually did

I think the real reason why the billionaires are so spooked is bc the unchecked, ravenous greed of the wealthy elite is ground zero for almost every major crisis facing humanity right now, and itā€™s hard to imagine that a benevolent AI wouldnā€™t quickly come to that conclusion

If you want to know what has everyone at the AI labs spooked, itā€™s this - the AI rewrote its own instructions. (Read the last line.)

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is a shining jewel in the strategy RPG genre, and an essential one for the Switch 2. I can't wait to play another 80 hours. Our review: bit.ly/4h8gG58
