Apparently, according to Tucker and his guest, algebra is now some form of bizarre Joo magic – and also Harvard Law is rigged against the innumerate. I have thoughts.

Last month they were saying Nolan's Odyssey was trash because he based it on this woke lady's translation. Now they are saying that the woke lady disliking it is what proves that it's trash. The goalposts have flown into the sun at this point.
“You go girl!” Real dialog from The Odyssey probably. Emily has a point.

"HOW DARE THEY NOT LET US RIG THE SYSTEM BY SPAMMING A BUNCH OF 1-STARS WITHOUT EVEN BUYING A TICKET?!"
What’s the whole point of review websites if they are just going to delete every single negative review?

I went to the Odyssey today. As soon as I saw Elliot Page on screen I immediately stood up and yelled: “That’s not Achilles!!” I was so mad I threw all my popcorn 🍿 on the people sitting in front of me and stormed out of the theater. I’ll never see another movie again.

IMHO, a lot of conservatives are missing the Biblical forest for the woke trees in Nolan's Odyssey. Yes, the casting of Elliot Page is silly and egregious. But here's the thing: Nolan's "The Odyssey" is an apologia for Christian morality poured into a Greek vase. The entire movie is rooted in what Nolan terms "Zeus' law." That law is: "Treat others as you would want to be treated, because anyone might be a god." Now, clearly, there's nothing like that in Greek mythology. It's not implicit in Homer. It's a direct rip from Biblical morality, substituting "because anyone might be a god" for "because man was made in the image of God." Nolan then takes this rule and uses it as his moral glue: the idea is that Odysseus, in utilizing the Trojan Horse, violated Zeus' law and led to full-scale slaughter. That sin has led to the unleashing of broader globalized sin (the "sea peoples" who don't respect Zeus' law and are invading surrounding areas). This is a highly Biblical message: that sin is infectious, and that sin also affects the world at large, not just the sinner. Odysseus has sinned, and he must atone for that sin through self-imposed exile. He must also sacrifice his own aspirations to restore the possibility of a moral universe: because he has unleashed catastrophic violence and violation of Zeus' law -- manifest in the suitors' cynical use of Zeus' law to eat Penelope out of house and home -- he must violate Zeus' law one last time and then accept the penalty, which is exile. This is a not only a movie that will make millions of people go read classical literature again. It also reinforces the idea that violation of the Golden Rule has disastrous consequences. I dunno. I'd consider that, on balance, a large-scale win for civilizational values, when weighed against the woke casting of Elliot Page or the dumbass discussion over whether Lupita Nyongo is good-looking enough (she is, and for the record Diane Kruger is German, not Greek).

I'm beginning to think Christopher Nolan just said he was doing X, Y, & Z for the positive media headlines but just did whatever he wanted. He was like "Sure, Ima use the worst translation, because me love feminism" then he just laughed about it later
Emily Wilson's 2017 translation is the credited basis for Christopher Nolan's Odyssey script. Now that the film has made $260M worldwide, she's telling the AP it left her unsatisfied. Her specific complaints: Zeus and Poseidon cut from the screen entirely, "incoherent" messaging that condemns both war and cowardice, and a Penelope so thinned out it endangers "any possibility of believing in this marriage." If the translator whose work built the script doesn't recognize the marriage at the center of it, what did the adaptation actually keep?

😂😂😂😂😂😂 Defeated 🤣
The success of The Odyssey will be Hollywood’s green light to go full throttle on wokeness Woke isn’t over. The right just enjoyed a brief taste of minor victories the past few years, then proceeded to devour itself with Egyptian plane conspiracies and pure retardation

Praised by audiences and critics, The Odyssey is now a massive commercial hit worldwide! Despite a months-long right wing anti-woke influencer backlash trying their hardest to call it WOKE! and steer people away. Ya. I think we can assess that whatever influence the “Chudosphere” thought they had is now dead. Regular people don't give a shit and just want to watch a good movie. 🤣
Only four R-rated films have EVER surpassed $350M at North American #boxoffice. A fifth is now going to join this elite club. #TheOdyssey.
