Neither are out of the league for good yet, Grizzlies were just too deep. Walt needs to figure some shit out but Peavy should play at the wing somewhere. Dude can really defend.

I’m starting to see it with Caleb Holt. He has a great baseline for a one and done to get immediate minutes in the NBA, and that’s a big deal. Defense, shooting, and athleticism can fit around stars. Could have sneaky upside as a creator? though he’s a long way from that rn

Yeah this is pretty dark for Oregon. They don’t have anyone who can get from the 3pt line to the rim with the ball in their hands. Ewin, Compton, and Stewart aren’t good enough to run your offense through as post hubs. Tons of length but what else are we doing here

It’s just an exhibition, but there’s a scary low floor for Oregon after Dana Altman’s last-second retirement. Didn’t love the roster, and now it gets trucked by Seattle U (Chris Victor doing Chris Victor things). 25 turnovers. Ducks' point guard play leaves a lot to be desired

Marcis Ponder is HUGE at 7’0”/285 but this is particularly notable as a 19 year old freshman against Auburn, a team that rolled out Bukky Oboye (7’1”/230lb senior), and Narcisse Ngoy (7’0/280lb 22 year old 2nd round pick). To show up and dominate these two is a statement. 📈

I'm still such a huge Nick Khamenia fan. Excited to see what he can do with higher USG this season. He's just an ok shooter, but his handle, pace, feel, and passing are great for 6'8". I also think he's one of the most underrated defenders in the country. Is he ready this year?
