I mean I'm sure it's just a wild coincidence but it's somewhat hilarious he fawned of Jaxson Dart's legs and then look what happened to Jaxson Dart.

Trump: Iā€™m looking at Jaxonā€¦ I'm looking at the legs there. He's this beautiful guy. He's got legs like tree trunks. This is not a good thing for women.

And #TIFF26 is done. Again at a certain point I just was more enjoying the festival and not trying to post everything here. My letterboxd and the website I write for has more honestly because I can find social media somewhat exhausting.

Always surprised when film critics on here say thereā€™s nothing great here at tiff and I can understand if you went to Sundance and Cannes but I did not and Iā€™ve personally not had a real clunker. I generally know what I like. #TIFF26 #TIFF

Tiff 14 - The Debut - iā€™m aware that I havenā€™t been able to put every single review here but thatā€™s because Iā€™m literally running a tight ship. But since I have a break, I can tell you that this may be the personal favourite of mine that Iā€™ve seen here so far.

I know that thereā€™s gonna be plenty of debates that happen once the general public see it and this could be film festival brain. But sometimes you see something and you know it was good from the beat and how do you know? The film flew by and this one did.

Paul Giamatti also excellent but his role is a bit more reduced though heā€™s clearly the person who can perform Eisenbergā€™s dialogue.

TIFF Film 9 - #Elsinore - iā€™m going to tell you right here and right now that the Oscar race is over and if anybody tries to say otherwise Andrew Scott is winning best actor. It is an immense performance having to balance not just Ian Charleson but Ian Charleson as Hamlet.

I know thereā€™s a couple unseen, but I cannot see anyone topping this one. It was clear through the editing that Andrew Scott did not hold a single thing back in this film.

TIFF 5- #Stuffed, absolutely unhinged musical with Harry Melling and Jodie Comer delivering excellent performances with great choreography and singing. Lots of walkouts on this one. Quite Divisive but also very darkly funny and somewhat sweet in a weird fucked up way. #TIFF26

TIFF 4 - The Man I Love (Ira Sachs) - Rami Malek steals the show playing a theatre actor dying of AIDS in the 70ā€™s. Also great supporting actors in Ebon-Moss Bachrach and Rebecca Hall. Not Sachs best work but itā€™s a competent film. #TIFF26

Overslept and missed #ALongWinter but it may have helped my body. ready to watch #Stuffed

TIFF Film 3 #WildHorseNine - John Malkovich is given a career best role by Director Martin McDonagh, if youā€™re familiar with him, his dialogue is as sharp as ever and Sam Rockwell delivers a killer supporting performance. Buscemi also great. #TIFF26

And now #Fjord, I worry that a film like this might be accused of Both-sidesism but I think thatā€™s a genius of the film in that Mungiu asks the audience to judge. If you know the director, you know what his strengths are and you know why he choose the fly on the wall approach.

Tiff Film 1 #AllofaSudden (Ryusuke Hamaguchi) - very human, very moving beautiful performances by Virginie Efira and Tao Okamoto . Reminds the viewer to take time for themselves and we donā€™t have to surrender everything to capitalism.

#HopeMovie is a wonderful action sci-fi genre pic. Shades of #AttackOnTitan, #ResidentEvil3 and #Aliens. Na-Hong Jin has something interesting brewing and it feels like a sequel could be forthcoming, thereā€™s some stuff left unanswered here that is intriguing. Very funny as well.
