For the record, most points scored in a state playoff game by two teams is 166, also a 6A game between Springfield (94) and Rock Island (72) from 2021.
Goode leads Quincy 60-59 with 58.2 left in 2Q
In case you wondered, Springfield led that game 42-35 at half.

Here is the Moline Miracle:
@GrantDahlstrom on the call of Kasen Ponder to Evan Ellis for a 25-yard TD with 0:11 left, giving the Maroons their 42-38 opening round playoff victory over Benet Academy on Friday night at Browning Field.

In one of the most memorable games in Moline history, the Maroons come all the way back and are moving on! Moline scores with 11 seconds left to beat Benet Academy and will play (15) Glenbard West!
7A: (18) Moline 42, (47) Benet Academy 38 - F

FINAL: Moline 42 - Benet 38
The best finish to a high school football game that you will see. An Evan Ellis 25 yard receiving TD with 11 seconds left secures an all time win for Moline.
