HOLY PLOT TWIST! I’m talking Metal Slinger level ending.  When I started crafting my review, before I could finish the final chapter, I thought about how a girl who claimed to be trained could be completely helpless the whole damn book. I was frustrated that she didn’t fight 1/3

Thank you @PRHAudio for the ALC. No one writes a rom-com like Laura Piper Lee. Doomsdate is a hilarious story of a nerdy film professor and a survivalist who start their first date on the brink of a zombie apocalypse. She does a lot of saving while he does a lot of teaching 😏.

I AM SCREAMING! This book is so freaking good. I was on the edge of my seat the whole book. The slow-burn yearning was delicious. I love that it questions blind following in faith. It challenges good vs. evil. You’ll devour this story. 1/2

THE INFINITE STATE is one of those books that had a lot of potential for an awesome sci-fi dystopian story, but fell short because it got bogged down in minor details that didn't matter. It includes some interesting concepts for a futuristic world, such as printing 1/2

I called the plot right from the start of IN THE DARK, but the feminine rage and “this princess can save herself” energy made it more enjoyable. Jas is a tenacious character who wants a seat at the table to prove she doesn't need the problems that men bring with them.
