I love this advertising so much. Big human face in the middle draws you to it, then the fact it’s built on the magic of reading smashes it home. Love a cross-track 48.

NEW: America is a rich country. Britain is a poor country with one wealthy region. People love to compare the UK to Mississippi, but it’s far more informative to look at UK subnationally, too. London ranks fairly well, the rest of the country does not 👉 ft.com/content/e5c741a7-befa…

Cinema’s only future existence is to await the return of the Morb 😂

Yeah I know we’re a bit late to the party, but we just spent ages thinking about what Barbenheimer means for cinema 👀 😂

The disappearance of Champions League football behind the paywall is a tragedy. The truly massive moments just don’t hit the way they should now.
When ITV lost their live Champions League matches in 2015, they signed off with a brilliant montage of all the great moments they’d covered during the previous 23 years. So much top class European football seen on free-to-air terrestrial TV. Glory days.

“I’m sorry, did you just say our owner’s a lying city trader?” “No I said you’re one down to the Lion City Sailors” “Oh. That’s much worse.”

*Logan Roy voice* “You’re not serious people” They’re gonna end up stopping every metre to excavate another insane archaeological find. Abandoned after a few years. Guaranteed.
BREAKING: The Stonehenge tunnel is going ahead. The Transport Secretary has granted a Development Consent Order (DCO) to construct it. A DCO previously issued for the project was quashed by the High Court in July 2021 amid concern about the environmental impact.

John Berylson's passing isn't just Millwall's loss, its football's. At a time when the game is dominated by unscrupulous owners who put greed before club & supporters, JB was a perfect example of how to run a football club and treat their fans. RIP JB 🙏 🦁 ❤️

In an age of football owners destroying clubs, alienating fans and haemorrhaging money, I truly believe we had the best Chairman in the country. RIP Sir John Berylson 💙
