I will never not be amazed at how boring and formulaic OFPL sounds, yet millions still play it. Come join the real ones. Come play Draft.

I’m sorry but what are you doing 7 GWs in if you don’t own Haaland?! Bruno is AWOL, Salah is playing in Turkey, are you just keeping the cash in the bank for a rainy day? There’s no logical explanation to this madness

Publicly acknowledging that our director of football has been doing work for another club while we are trying to fix a squad for a new manager. One of the most unprofessional things I think I’ve ever seen.

Aaaannnnnnd there it is. £65m for Jackson, £45m for Garnacho and £7.5m for Martinez £117m, which JUST SO HAPPENS to be what they "sold" Rogers for. Fragrant open book cheating of transfer rules Chelsea agree deal to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Martinez skysports.com/football/live-…

So City signed Savinho for £21m in 2024 In the 2 seasons he spent at the club he has 2 premier league goals and 3 G/A in 16 champions league games and they’re somehow going to sell him for £85.6M ???

Yes. American tax dollars should fund all of those things and could do so easily. My God man, imagine investing in our kids instead of funding genocide!

@AlexiLalasJul 7
So you think the American taxpayer should fund youth soccer? You should definitely run for office on that. What about piano lessons, SAT prep, dance, math tutoring, horse riding, fencing etc? Should taxpayer fund those? Also, our goverment financially supports many sports.

Probably the most disturbing thing you regularly encounter in America is how many people have been socialized to worship the profit motive as some sort of God that holds higher value than things like children being able to play sports
Alexi Lalas
@AlexiLalasJul 7
Youth soccer (youth sports) is a competitive market with businesses selling a product that obviously customers are willing to pay for. I’d love if soccer was free to all. But who is going to pay for all this free soccer?
