Turns out a TON of patents in biosimilar litigation are filed long after the biologic is approved...which is weird & bad, @rai_arti & I argue in a new @NatureBiotech piece out today. @uspto & @US_FDA should coordinate so such patents get a closer look. rdcu.be/cdnYb

Fascinating: new antibiotics get low reimbursement rates in France b/c approved v noninferiority trials...therefore automatically classed as lower payment than comparators (e.g., generic antibiotic).
