A tough weekend in Spa. We got the most out of the car that we could. Carlos got caught up in a Lap 1 incident, which cost us quite a bit in terms of performance. Alex had a clean weekend and didn't put a foot wrong. On the positive side, our pit stops have been improving week on week. I know how hard the team has been working to get this right.
It's been a tough first half of the season, but there's still a long way to go. We need to keep working hard and make small improvements week on week. One more race to go before the summer break, let's stay positive.

Silverstone was a tough weekend. We added performance, but not as much as we need or as much as some of our rivals.
Setbacks are part of elite sport and every high-performance organisation goes through them. What defines you is how you respond - and Williams has always been a team that digs deep and comes back swinging. That is our focus right now: working as one team to understand the data, the shortcomings, and put things right as quickly as we can.
The support from you, the fans, at Silverstone and around the UK was incredible last week and will drive us forward every step of the way.

An incredibly difficult Barcelona. The positives are that there is some evidence of what we need to review in terms of car setup and balance for future learning. Well done to Alex and Carlos, who really did a fantastic job all weekend to extract everything they could from the car. This track is an outlier, we have Austria in two weeks, and our focus is on fighting back for points again.
Congratulations to Alex who broke the record for most Grand Prix starts for Williams. An incredible achievement. We wouldn’t be where we are today without his contribution over the years.
Well done to Lewis. I caught up with him in Monaco and it is great to see the spring back in his step. He drove a brilliant qualifying, and a brilliant race. Well deserved.

Qualifying in Monaco always brings excitement. With Carlos in Q1 it really was down to one lap with cold tyres, and he did a fantastic lap. Alex put it right on the limit in Q2, we're just missing a few milliseconds to get the cars into Q3. It was small details that may or may not have pushed us there, but across three races at very different tracks, we've been either in Q3 or knocking on the door of Q3 over the last three races, and that’s significant progress. I'm looking forward to the race tomorrow. There's still opportunity from where we are on the grid.
I also want to say well done to the team. If you look at our car today, you'll notice significant differences in the rear wing area. That was work that was reacted to very quickly and delivered within around 18 hours. And that's exceptional, from aero development, stress work, production to on car. It just shows a willingness to find every millisecond and we will keep hunting it every week.
Finally, I wish Fred all the best in terms of recovery, and hopefully I get to catch up with him soon
