Electricity production is the best metric for the true strength of any large-scale economy imo
Energy capacity = economic capacity, in one chart There are no low electricity, rich countries

Remarkably musical and gorgeous recording of Kodaly’s genius cello sonata. Impeccable performance, on the level of Starker. youtu.be/tDyUCK7K0mE?is=1687…

It has begun. Pollsters who want the industry to survive are now sounding off on the fantasy polls intended to melt the prediction markets.
The design effect on this is wild, like above 3. Usually a strong design effect is something like 1.5 (meaning LOTS of weighting and poor sample collection). Best place for this poll is the circular file. #pollsthatmakeyouLOL

As part of that invasion, Hitler’s armies killed three million Soviet prisoners, and a million Russian Jews. 30 to 40 million people died on the Eastern Front. It seems somewhat possible that his word was not his bond.

50 HR offices. 18 chief information officers. 19 permitting systems that didn’t talk to each other. That’s what @TylerHassen1 encountered at Interior. The DOGE story isn’t only about cutting waste. It’s about rebuilding government for the modern age. gingrich360.net/p/what-reall…

Thank you so much @newtgingrich! It was truly an honor speaking with you, and I completely agree about government accountability! Everyone can order my book here to learn more about my unique experience in government: amazon.com/dp/1645721264
The biggest problem Tyler Hassen found inside the federal government wasn’t simply waste. It was accountability. He reviewed 10,000 contracts worth $10 billion and often couldn’t get an answer to a basic question: Who made this decision? Government has to be accountable.

Guys, I hate to break it to you, but most political advisors are so bafflingly incompetent, it would make your head spin. All the talented communicators go work in Hollywood or at Saatchi and Saatchi, and these political bros never tap these agencies for help...I've connected several campaigns with literally the best marketing geniuses in the game, got them discounted rates, even...and they just never even bothered calling. It truly feels like a lot of consultants and candidates just want to lose. You ever wonder how my ads went so massively viral, but there's not been a single candidate who's come close to it? It's their dumbass advisors. I didn't go with any political advisors, and they were SO mad about it. I partnered with a filmmaker and marketing wizard, instead of political grifters. Why? Because I wanted our messaging to be effective. Political ads suck. Nobody watches them. I wanted people to want to watch my ads. The fact that nobody else understands this is...I honestly don't know how to explain it, other than they want to lose. There are a bunch of candidates who love it when their party loses power. It takes all the heat off them, because then they can't be expected to pass legislation when they're in the minority, plus they can fundraise way better off of the rage when the opposition is running roughshod over the country. Baffling to watch.

Now in the Cave of the Patriarchs: A worshipper stood on a chair and asked to thank God for the great miracle on the plane. Everyone broke into songs and dances of thanksgiving.

A short list of today's miracles: The pilot opened the cockpit door moments before collapsing The heroes, Yaniv, Assaf, and Tzvika, happened to be at the front of the plane. British pilots happened to be on the flight Yaniv had watched the “Air Crash Investigation” docuseries and pushed the controls forward. Without every single one of them, tonight we’d be searching for wreckage in the deserts of Saudi Arabia—and even that only if the prince allowed it.
