Call me crazy but here's what I think will happen in the 2027 offseason. LeBron James and Steph Curry both sign with the Cavs next offseason, the Cavs do a sign n trade with the Warriors for James Harden and Jarret Allen, Bron signs in the minimum, and Curry get's a max deal for another 2 years. The lineup will be Curry, Mitchel, Watson, Bron, Mobley. This team will win a chip.

Trade ideas for Jalen Duran. Hornets get Jalen Duran 5yr/200 million, Taurean Prince Pistons Get: Ryan Kalkbrenner, Grant Williams, Sion James, Salun.

If I were the Jazz I wouldn't have extended Keyonte George, I would've waited next offseason for when he was a RFA, and used him as leverage in a trade for a superstar with all the assets and young players that you have. Have him ball out for a season, make the playoffs, lose in the first round, and then there's potentially gonna be really good players available, like Nikola Jokic, Tyrese Haliburton, Derrick White, and maybe even Steph??

If Anthony Davis still thinks he's a max player he should think twice about it, he should accept that player option next year, and just accept that's the last max deal he's getting with his health and his age. He's worth 35 a year max the rest of his career on short term deals.

If I'm the Warriors here's what I'd do if I'm them this season, I'd go ahead and trade Steph, Draymond, and Jimmy Butler all at the deadline and get as many assets for them as I possibly can. You do this though with the intention of using your cap space next offseason to resign them and rebuilt the team to win a championship. So essentially let's say if the Hornets are like yeah we'll take Steph for a 1 year rental and go to the playoffs with him if they have a good team. The Hornets have a massive trade exception, you give up one first round pick, and expiring money. That way both teams know what they are getting out of the deal. I think Draymond to the Spurs would be a nice trade, the Spurs could give up some assets like a future seconds and maybe even some young players in exchange for a 1 year rental. I think for Butler you can't demand much, I can see the warriors taking three expiring deals and in return a few seconds in the deal to just build up some assets, but those expirings they get they can use them to trade for more seconds (if that makes sense)

What doesn't make a lot of sense to me is this about the warriors. This offseason here's what they did, they gave Horford an additional guaranteed year going into next offseason for 7 million, that's cap space they could've used. Al is currently 40 years old, he'll be 42 by the time this contract is up, just a horrible move by the front office, for a guy who wasn't playing much last season and hurt a lot. Then they resign Kristaps for 2yrs 40 mil, not a bad contract but once again I would've just given him more money for 1 year like 25 million, and let him go into next offseason as a free agent and you could've resigned him if you wanted to compete for a championship. I think it's a good idea they haven't extended Steph yet or anything like that. You have Moses Moody under contract too, he's got a gruesome injury, I don't think he's tradable this trade deadline at all, unless you attatch assets to his contract. Yaxel is on a rookie deal that's fine. Gui has 5 million guaranteed that's fine not a big deal. Melton also has a player option, so we'll see what he does with that. The warriors regardless will have over 100 million in cap space next offseason, and they can resign the current guys who are expiring to cheaper deals if they didn't want to hit the second apron. So if I'm the warriors here's what I'd do next offseason. Here's what you need, you need guys around Steph and Draymond who will be effective, Jokic can be a free agent as of now, so can Giannis, so can so many other players, so we'll see how this all pans out. But you have to get another superstar on this roster or this team is cooked.

The Dallas Mavericks make little to no sense to me, what I just don't understand still is why they traded away Davis for virtually nothing in return, and then went ahead and used the money they traded away for pick up Santi Aldama, another PF they didn't need

Here's what I'd do if I'm the Clippers, screw whatever possible free agents you can get in 2027, that shouldn't be your focus in creating cap space right now because the reality if you use your cap space on mediocre players who can potentially turn into a bad contract that would be even worse. What I'd do instead is free up enough money to try to sign one max player, one player under the full MLE, and during this years trade deadline absorb as much cap as possible while getting 1st round picks in return, I think there's a strong possibility the Clippers can obtain two future first round picks by picking up bad contracts.

Goal for the nets this season is to just be above 500 by the trade deadline, I do think they can do that. I know the team isn't that good, but the roster is Demin, Ellis, MPJ, Randle, Sharpe, this team isn't just gonna get killed every night.

I'm glad the nba stepped in and gave the clippers this punishment, Balmer knew what he was doing was wrong. First off he told companies to break the law in order for him to circumvent the salary cap, and told them he wouldn't give them any money if he didn't

I just think that if the Clippers came out and said hey this was taken too far. We'll send the league a couple of firsts this whole situation would've been fine

The Clippers are going to have to play this season a little differently. Here's what I'd do if I'm them. Your probably still gonna hover around a 500 team next season based on this roster, and are going to try to remain competitive despite not owning the rights to your pick (OKC has that right) Untouchable is Keaton Wagler, but you develop him and start him next season, NOT BEAL! (maybe Max Strus starts though) You make sure Ingram and Garland are putting up all star numbers to increase their value at the trade deadline, they'll be teams who want their services especially ones that are trying to trade their expiring with picks for better players. For example, I can see the Kings leveraging a first and Lavine if Garland has an all star season, if you are the Clippers you take this. The Magic can be another team come the trade deadline who are going to want to maybe move off Suggs and get a better offensive point guard. The Nuggets are dealing with second apron issues, maybe you can get Jamal Murray and upgrade at that position while Denver takes a slight downgrade without the Clippers giving up any assets. You have Rui on a really good contract, if he has a good year averaging 17-18 a game you can maybe get a 2027 first, if you can you trade him and get back expiring money. You have Brandon Ingram, you trade him during the all star break and get back expiring money and potentially another first round pick. Some teams that might be interested could be the Blazers (for Ja), the Bulls (Patrick Williams and expiring money for Ingram) the Warriors (Butler's expiring plus a first) the Cavs (Jarret Allen and Sam Merrill) I can see this being a possibility.

Here's the Clippers roster after the punishment. Garland, Wagler, Ingram, Rui, Lopez Dunn, Beal, Strus, Jones Jr, JKN Sanders, Christie, Jordan Miller, Baba Miller, Jackson They have a first round pick in 2027, although it was likely be a pick between 25-30 based on the Thunder's projected seeding. They own the Pacers 2029 first The Raptors 2031 first The Raptors 2033 first. They do not have their own first in 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33. The only years they will not have a first round draft pick is 30 and 32 unless they trade for more.

The country seriously need to begin paying off it's national debt, the more debt that we have the more taxes all of us are going to need to pay, the worse quality of life we will all have, and none of us our children, or future generations will be able to have a good future in this country

Here's what I believe the Lakers lineup should be next season. Luka, Ar, Grimes, Vando, Kessler Sexton, Thybulle, Jake, Zaire, Mamu This is a solid 9 man rotation imo

If I'm the Clippers I save up all my asset for Nikola Jokic next summer, you just gained three future firsts from other teams and the rights to a pick swap, you add that up with some decent role players and an expiring deal in Garland you trade for Jokic and start over with the rebuilding of this team.

I think the Mavs made a fat mistake by trading away AD last offseason, you weren't able to add much or clear much cap space to be honest, you still have Kyrie, and a good front court rotation, but they could've had pretty much the same roster with AD this year if they didn't trade for two fake firsts which basically are just seconds
