#BREAKING A Judge just blocked the deportation of the Bronx ICE target: A federal judge has blocked the deportation of Oscar Bergal, the man shot by an ICE officer during a targeted enforcement operation in the Bronx Thursday. DHS describes Bergal as an illegal immigrant from the Dominican Republic with a grand larceny conviction and associations with the Trinitarios gang. In an order issued Friday, Judge J. Paul Oetken ruled Bergal cannot be removed from the United States without another court order while his petition challenging his detention is pending. The judge also restricted transfers—allowing him to be moved only to facilities within the Southern or Eastern Districts of New York, or the District of New Jersey, without further court approval. DHS says Bergal was transferred to an detention outside of New York due to his criminal history and flight risk. The department says an ICE officer discharged his weapon during the operation, injuring Bergal. Officers rendered aid, and he was hospitalized. The order does not direct his release. It remains in effect unless the judge assigned to the case changes or lifts it.

Chevalier, seen doing the work here, will be a star in the 120th Congress. Bet on it.
Two federal agents are going door to door near the crime scene “trying to get evidence.” Darializa Avila Chevalier and state Sen. Gustavo Rivera are following them to tell people they don’t have to answer or speak with the agents.

This afternoon in Marble Hill, a New Yorker was shot by an ICE agent in a residential neighborhood. Early reports indicate agents surrounded him and a 5-year-old child in his car before firing multiple rounds. We believe the child was physically unharmed. This is an unconscionable and incredibly serious situation. I have called the President; when we speak I will demand that he ends all ICE enforcement actions in our city. I will not stand by while ICE agents terrorize our communities. Our thoughts are with the injured New Yorker and his family tonight. We are praying for his recovery. Get ICE out of our neighborhoods. Get ICE out of our hospitals. Get ICE off our streets. Get ICE away from our children. Abolish ICE.

SCOOP: ICE officers across the country were told this weekend to stop arresting non-criminals, agency sources tell @realDailyWire Now, ICE may only arrest illegal immigrants with criminal convictions or charges for the time being, said the sources. The change also ends so-called “collateral arrests,” sources said, meaning officers who find a criminal target alongside others in the country illegally may detain only the target. dailywire.com/news/exclusive…

Congressman Greg Casar visited Wilber at Pearsall today and confirmed that the bullet remains lodged in his body, his wound is still bleeding, and he has not fully regained mobility on his left side. He received an injection for pain only about an hour before the congressional visit. During the press conference, the Congressman called for adequate medical care, a full investigation, and the release of the entire ICE dashcam footage.

This is a horrendous sign for oil prices. If Europe gets starved of Saudi oil for more than a month, we’ll probably see even more calls within the GOP to ban diesel exports.
Saudis Tell European Refiners They’ll Get No Crude Next Month Saudi Aramco told at least two oil refining customers in Europe that they will be allocated no crude oil next month after the kingdom’s key pipeline to the Red Sea was attacked, people informed of the decision said. European customers normally receive Saudi Arabian crude on so-called term contracts, ensuring a steady flow of supply every month. Those deliveries will not take place next month, the people said, asking not to be identified because the information isn’t public. The decision applies to all European buyers, they said. (Bloomberg)
