The Bigfoot Hunters finally did it! He’s been caught! Mayonnaise lured it and a trip wire caught him in the camouflaged box. Thanks to @JSteachASL and her 1st period class and the Butler Tech crew to help with the project!
Inclusion at its best! ❤️ @EAST_HAWKS @LakotaDistrict

More than 30 LEHS students gave their time to serve the local community today at Deaf Family Connect. It’s a joy to see them apply their skills in the real world. @EAST_HAWKS @LakotaDistrict @deafstreetlight @cherryASLdeaf
ASL 4 Ss must understand the meaning of terms in both ASL and English to interpret. Our community partner from Emery Federal came today to help us better understand our banking terms. Ss were full of good questions! Thank you Mr. Dixon @EAST_HAWKS @LakotaDistrict @emeryfcu

So much excitement @LJSHawks Hub-8th grade Ss visited World Languages Fair to see what language options they have next year, to experience what the languages have to offer, and to provide them a small exposure to all languages-French, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Latin.
ASL students worked on listing techniques while also making notes of gratitude to teachers. We have some amazing staff members at LEHS and the student notice! @EAST_HAWKS
ASL club is a student led group, and the leaders are awesome!Last month they made pumpkins for a local nursing home, check out the TY note from one of the residents. And this month they had a signing Charlie Brown style Friendsgiving. @EAST_HAWKS @EastAsl @cherryASLdeaf
