On International Day of Rural Women, we salute every woman who quietly shapes the places she calls home. At JSW Foundation, we strive to stand beside her with the skills, support and opportunities to keep growing, because when she is strong, the whole village is strong. Here's to helping them build a future that's #BetterEveryday for all. #JSWFoundation

Access to good healthcare shouldn't depend on where one lives. That's the thought behind JSW Foundation's Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) programme. MMUs travel to hard-to-reach communities across Karnataka, Odisha, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand, so quality care is never out of reach. This year alone, we have already touched over 100,000 lives and helped close critical gaps in healthcare access. At JSW Foundation, we strive to keep bringing healthcare closer to everyone that needs it, making lives and healthcare #BetterEveryday. #JSWFoundation

With every seed of cotton, begins a journey of possibility. Because for the women artisans of JSW Foundation's Bunkai, cotton becomes more than yarn or fabric. It becomes a skill, a source of income, and a step towards greater independence. This World Cotton Day, we celebrate the journey from seed to livelihood, where every thread carries the possibility of a future that's #BetterEveryday. #JSWFoundation #WorldCottonDay

The future of education is built at the grassroots, by strengthening the systems that help every child learn and grow. We are proud to see this work recognised with the SICA’26 – The CSR Universe Social Impact Award in the Education category for our Model Schools Pathways Programme. In partnership with the Government of Karnataka and our implementation partners, this programme is taking a systems-strengthening approach to transform government schools through better infrastructure, foundational learning, teacher and headmaster capacity, student wellbeing, community engagement and governance. Today, the programme spans 210 government schools and 70+ Anganwadis across five districts, reaching more than 50,000 students, 2,000+ teachers and headmasters, and 500+ education officials. With an ambition to transform 1,000 government schools into lighthouse Model Schools by 2035, we remain committed to creating stronger, more equitable and sustainable public education systems across Karnataka. Thank you to everyone walking this path with us, as we work towards a #BetterEveryday. #JSWFoundation

Lasting change is built when communities have the means to sustain it. We are proud to be recognised as the Winner for Excellence in Sustainable Maintenance and Community Management of WASH Systems at the ISC-FICCI Sanitation Awards 2026. The recognition honours our Integrated Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Programme in rural Odisha, bringing sustainable sanitation, solid waste management and safe drinking water to 54 habitations across 15 revenue villages, reaching 6,000+ households and nearly 30,000 people across five Gram Panchayats in Sambalpur and Jharsuguda. At its core is community ownership, with Village Water and Sanitation Committees, Water User Groups, women’s SHGs and local institutions driving implementation and upkeep. A decentralised revenue model, supported by user fees, recyclable waste and compost, helps sustain operations. Waste collection has grown from under 73 tonnes in 2023–24 to nearly 407 tonnes in 2025–26. For us, this recognition reinforces a simple belief: sustainable solutions are those communities can own, sustain and carry forward for a #BetterEveryday.

Some stories deserve to be experienced, not just remembered. At the Hampi Archaeological Museum in Kamalapura, we are restoring and reimagining how the rich history, architecture and legacy of the Vijayanagara Empire can be experienced. The transformation will see the museum’s galleries redesigned, new interpretation techniques introduced and the landscape re-envisioned, creating a more immersive journey through the story of Hampi. The journey has already begun, with 700+ sculptures being carefully packed and moved to secure storage as site works get underway. From the grandeur of the Vijayanagara Empire to the stories etched in every sculpture, every element offers a glimpse into a remarkable past. Our endeavour is to create a space that helps these stories connect with audiences in new and meaningful ways. Because when we find new ways to experience the past, we create new ways to carry its stories forward. And that’s one more step towards #BetterEveryday. #JSWFoundation

From what lies hidden, new stories emerge. At the Black Pavilion in Shalimar Bagh, layers of time have revealed a quietly ingenious wooden system, restored today with the care and skill of traditional arikash. At JSW Foundation, each effort brings us closer to preserving heritage and shaping a #BetterEveryday. #JSWFoundation

For Kavin Mehta, material is a starting point for experimentation. Working between stone and natural indigo, his practice explores what happens when a dye traditionally associated with textile is carried into an entirely different material language. In Untitled (Prelude), hand-carved limestone is immersed repeatedly in indigo, allowing the colour to absorb into the stone and build gradually through oxidation. The result is a meeting of material, process and patience — where indigo becomes part of the stone itself. On view at Homo Faber 2026 : An Island of Light, Venice.
