I've accepted Jesus Christ as my lord and savior recently.
It is the most powerful thing I will ever do for myself, and for my family.
For years and years and years I've pondered existentialism. In college I loved philosophy. Essentially, thinking about thinking. I thought for years it doesn't make sense, how can He create everything. How is He here right now. How how how. Why why why.
To make a very clear point, and a reason why I accepted Christ, but not the only reason, I'll give you a bit of my own recent history.
Since the start of 2025 I've had 8 people, 2 friends, 6 family members pass. One my Papa. Who I love dearly. I hope to see him again, but even more I hope he is spending eternity in heaven.
Do you really want to accept your non religious life, and accept that family member you love so dearly will die one day? And they are just gone? Do you want to accept your life is 70-80 years, then it's just done? Do you understand 80 years in the grand scheme of time is nothing, and you accepted your life to be nothing but how good you can feel in your time on earth?
Or do you wish to accept Christ, and that person you loved so much, that struggled so much on earth but chose to be a good human regardless, and now gets eternal life in heaven? Do you wish to rejoice when you pass?
Hope. Have some hope. Because I hope so much that I know, my Papa is in heaven. I hope so much that there is no point in considering the other option anymore.
Repent so that you are no longer burdened by shame.
Surrender your heart and mind to Jesus Christ. This is imperative. It cannot wait.
