A college degree is not just a piece of paper. If done correctly, it shows the ability of the recipient to think critically, build a network, work with others, complete tasks on deadline, and communicate effectively with groups of people from different backgrounds. Why is going to college and getting a degree important for most people? Those with a college degree will usually have the following benefits, perks and opportunities: *Qualify for higher paying jobs *First to be promoted *Nicer car *Nicer house *Children more apt to complete a degree *More mobile *More secure employment *Higher educated spouse *More savings *Better benefits *More retirement funds *Broader network *Earlier retirement Cred: @JRonLIII

Bill Self was talking about OU HC legend Billy Tubbs and started reminiscing about the old Big 8 Conference "The best days of college basketball, we had it better than anybody" He listed a group of coaches that "made this league great": Billy Tubbs - Oklahoma Larry Brown - Kansas Jack Hartman and Lon Kruger - K-State Norm Stewart - (Missouri) Johnny Orr - Iowa State Joe Cipriano - Nebraska Eddie Sutton - Oklahoma State #kubball

Who’s the one player you think of when you see this logo? I’ll start: @LaMichaelJames

It was proven when Jonathan Smith left. It was proven when Kalen DeBoer left. It was proven when Jedd Fisch left. It was proven when Lincoln Riley left. It will be proven over and over and over again that coaches are going to chase the money and exposure. There is almost no loyalty anymore. Stop committing to a coach. Commit to a university and place you feel could be home no matter what adversity is thrown your way.

It’s OFFICIAL - Michael Penix is the biggest Heisman Snub in College Football History The voters really chose the QB of a 9-3 team over a 13-0, undefeated CFP team just because one happened to play in the SEC… Penix just went into Jayden Daniel’s state, & put on a bigger SHOW than Daniels ever could at LSU 💪 This is why the Heisman Trophy should be awarded AFTER Bowl Season… What Penix did tonight is worth more than Jayden’s ENTIRE season combined 💯

It has been one of the great honors of my life to serve as the Representative for Washington's 6th District in Congress. I’m proud of what we have accomplished – but it is time for the next chapter. I will not seek re-election in 2024. Read my full statement here:

HUGE congrats to former Vandal alum and current head coach of the Germany national team, Gordon Herbert for leading the squad to a FIBA World Cup title! Herbert played guard for Idaho from 1979-82 and helped lead the 1981-82 team to the Sweet 16! 🎥 (Magenta Sport)

There are much better choices among both Democrats and Republicans. Be a sheep if you want.

Our 1981-82 men’s basketball team reunited in Moscow this summer! 🏀😀 The team is still the most successful in U of I’s history, reaching the Sweet 16 and achieving a rank of 6th in the nation. They were joined by Coach Don Monson, who celebrated his 90th birthday this year. 🥳
